The reason i became an army is: Bangtan came into my life to change me completely, since I have known them i do not stop thanking that now i love and accept myself more than ever, they have really come to brighten my days and make me smile at all times they have been with me when i need them the most. I am very proud of everything they are and have achieved in these years, i am very happy to know that they have fulfilled all their dreams, they are an example to follow. Maybe i was not there from the beginning but i promise with all my being and heart that i will support them and be with them until the end. They really make me so happy with their existence, with their songs, dances, performances, passion, effort, affection and for the love they have for us. I have learned a lot from each one and I am grateful for that because they have helped me change for the better, I will never stop thanking them for coming into my life at the right time.

I became an ARMY because of my sister. She always talks about them then one time, she showed me some of their pictures and she introduced me to them. Honestly, I didn't even have interest in them when she did that, but when she plays their songs, I always jive in them even though I don't know the lyrics. I became an ARMY in 2018. I was 14 at that time and was slowly getting interested in pop culture, most of the songs i heard before that was mostly about love, money and explicit stuff. Sometimes the song would be gud but not the video, sometimes the dance is gud , sometimes the lyrics, etc. But in when I first saw BTS I saw everything in one place like the video, the lyrics , music, dance are sooo good. I was really able to connect with their lyrics and they are such a motivating force for me. Meeting BTS is one of the greatest turning point in my life and I'm always sincerely grateful for the positive impact they had on me.

I have followed BTS since 2019 but was not able to support them fully because of my parents strictness!! Last year around April when the pandemic situation got worse ... I started having anxiety problems and even went through depression after I lost few of my very close family members! I never thought I'll be able to overcome this grief and loss but it was BTS who helped me stand up again!! Their single *DYNAMITE* , which was released just before my BDAY cheered me up and helped me get through me pains! I would never have been this happy in my life if it wasn't for the seven stars ! Now the pandemic seems relaxing with BTS and ARMY friends I have by my side always!! This is the greatest happiness I could get .. Thank you BTS *BORAHAE* ♡
I became an ARMY in 2020. Actually I came to know BTS by a social media app. Then I was amazed by their visuals.I searched for it.I got the results saying 'South korean boy band'. After listening GoGo I really liked it's performance,visuals,vocals,raping and all,I started to search another songs and it went like this.Whenever I feel like I'm being ignored or scolded or happy or everything I listened to their songs. I started to knew the life story and struggles of every member and their never giving up policy all just made me get goosebumps. My journey of being ARMY is traveling like this..and it'll continue to be like this forever!
And I became army in 2018 when I was watching a k-drama, then I started listening music and watching tik tok, then I suddenly found BTS, AND AT THE FIRST SIGHT I HAVE BECOME THERE ARMY I HAVE FALLAN FOR THERE MUSIC, THERE FRIENDSHIP, THERE CUTENESS, THERE JOYFUL MOVEMENTS ,there love for us ARMY's, a strong family bonding of BTS AND ARMY, and then understand the meaning of I PURPLE YOU (BORAHAE) WHICH WAS SO TOUCHED! Honestly, at first I was just a listener but then I got so curious to why my friends love them. So I asked my friends where I can start watching their variety show and they said on weverse and and then I went and downloaded it. I saw Run BTS and how funny they are, but what caught my attention was how they treat each other. It just made me think how I wish I had that kind of relationship with my family. After watching a few more of the episodes I started to really like them so I went on and searched more about them and tried to understand the lyrics behind their songs. And that’s what made me become more more into them. I saw how not only they are talented but also how beautiful they are inside and out. I found comfort listening to their songs, watching their videos, shows but most of all how every time they make sure that we know they love us. I AN BTS ARMY AND I AM PROUD OF IT!!💜

I officially became an Army in 2019. I was actually listening to their music since 2014 but never dug deep to found out who they were, I was just vibing to each song. I became an army thanks to my son who would constantly play BTS music so loud that the house would vibrate. I had no idea what I was listening to or who they were, but I really liked the beat. It wasn't until fake love mv was released that my son showed me who BTS was. Can I just say that my life has never been the same since. I'm so totally addicted to them and it's probably ridiculous considering I have kids their age but I just love their music, their dance and their beautiful personalities. But it's not just that, I love the message in all their songs, I love who they are as people and I love everything they stand for. These guys started from the bottom and have become international superstars but throughout this time, they've remained humble and true to themselves. I love that so much. I am an Army since 2019,the relationship shared by BTS and we Armies is one of mutual respect and love and there are hardly any artists today who care about their fans as much as BTS do. We receive constant reminders by BTS to eat well, get enough sleep and rest, and to study hard. These are all indications that our well-being is just as important as their well-being is to us. A fandom is a place where you can be yourself. I think the process of becoming an ARMY happened naturally! They came into my life in 2016 and at the beginning of 2017 I realized how important they were to me! I discovered BTS about 4/5 years ago but I only became an Army last year. My friend would also keep me updated. Their misic is great and I really love it. I love how they expressed such deep meaning with only a few words. Their influence has a great impact on peoples lives. PERMISSION TO DANCE is such a great song expressing culture, race, ethnicity, religion, catering for the mute amd disabled people, i live how they expressed that no one is better than another and simply just be yourself and live yourself. I became an Army during 2019 when the pandemic was just introduced. I was going through a series of mixed emotions for the first time, which had me bewildered about what was happening to me. I thought it was a catharsis. Then I was just scrolling through Pinterest as I saw a video of a bunch of boys having fun, I don't remember the content of the video but I remember that I immediately started searching about them. I came to know they were a K-pop band BTS which I had heard about before through my army friends. I then came across Run Bts , that I stayed up binge watching till 2am in the morning. I realised, I've never laughed so much in my whole life before and ever since I recognised myself as an army, I've never let my emotions get the best of me. I noticed that I'm starting to learn to love myself.😭💘 All thanks to the deep lyrics of their songs. After that, Dynamite and Life goes on were released, that made me obsessed with the messages they were trying to convey to us, despite the pandemic. Especially, "Life goes on" which always sparked hope! I'm always grateful and thankful that BTS gave us an identity "army" , and now I'm filled with positivity, they've made this world such a blissful place and they deserve every ounce of happiness! I'm just so so so thankful for their existence and appreciate them for doing the best they can for us 😭💜 We armies will always cry with them, laugh with them, stay beside them! We'll embrace every side of them for they have done so much for us. Like you mentioned Sanne , BTS have accomplished so much that we don't even realise their growth! There was this scene in American Hustle life where Jimin watches fireworks and says in the camera, "How much does it cost to light up those firecrackers" and there went my tears rolling down my cheeks! It was heartbreaking yet it gave me such a strong impression! That's because they can now see and light up millions of fireworks, and this itself shows how passionate they were and the hard work and struggles they went through despite encountering all the hate 😭😭😭😭 Writing this make my heart melt! Their honesty is one of the biggest reasons I became an army and it was the best decision of my life. 💘They've made us happy even though we've never met in person, that's the power they hold! I genuinely wish nothing but happiness for them! I wouldn't have been able to get past my emotions I felt in the past if not for BTS and I'm always in debt towards them. They're a blessing, it's a whole other paradise! I'm an Army and I'm proud 💜💜💜💜 Not to forget, Permission to dance feels awesome, the line "when we fall we know how to land" this line portrays that even if pandemic exists, it will not be the end of us, because we have hope, we know how to move on! The reason i became an army is:
Bangtan came into my life to change me completely, since I have known them i do not stop thanking that now i love and accept myself more than ever, they have really come to brighten my days and make me smile at all times they have been with me when i need them the most. I am very proud of everything they are and have achieved in these years, i am very happy to know that they have fulfilled all their dreams, they are an example to follow. Maybe i was not there from the beginning but i promise with all my being and heart that i will support them and be with them until the end. They really make me so happy with their existence, with their songs, dances, performances, passion, effort, affection and for the love they have for us.

Honestly, at first I was just a listener but then I got so curious to why my friends love them. So I asked my friends where I can start watching their variety show and they said on weverse and and then I went and downloaded it. I saw Run BTS and how funny they are, but what caught my attention was how they treat each other. It just made me think how I wish I had that kind of relationship with my family. After watching a few more of the episodes I started to really like them so I went on and searched more about them and tried to understand the lyrics behind their songs. And that’s what made me become more more into them. I saw how not only they are talented but also how beautiful they are inside and out. I became an army thanks to my son who would constantly play BTS music so loud that the house would vibrate. I had no idea what I was listening to or who they were, but I really liked the beat. It wasn't until fake love mv was released that my son showed me who BTS was. Can I just say that my life has never been the same since. I'm so totally addicted to them and it's probably ridiculous considering I have kids their age but I just love their music, their dance and their beautiful personalities. But it's not just that, I love the message in all their songs, I love who they are as people and I love everything they stand for. These guys started from the bottom and have become international superstars but throughout this time, they've remained humble and true to themselves. I love that so much. They make me laugh, cry and help me forget about everything. I listen to bts 24/7 and have probably watched every bts content. I became an Army during 2019 when the pandemic was just introduced. I was going through a series of mixed emotions for the first time, which had me bewildered about what was happening to me. I thought it was a catharsis. Then I was just scrolling through Pinterest as I saw a video of a bunch of boys having fun, I don't remember the content of the video but I remember that I immediately started searching about them. I came to know they were a K-pop band BTS which I had heard about before through my army friends. I then came across Run Bts , that I stayed up binge watching till 2am in the morning. I realised, I've never laughed so much in my whole life before and ever since I recognised myself as an army, I've never let my emotions get the best of me. I noticed that I'm starting to learn to love myself.😭💘 All thanks to the deep lyrics of their songs. After that, Dynamite and Life goes on were released, that made me obsessed with the messages they were trying to convey to us, despite the pandemic. Especially, "Life goes on" which always sparked hope! I'm always grateful and thankful that BTS gave us an identity "army" , and now I'm filled with positivity, they've made this world such a blissful place and they deserve every ounce of happiness! I'm just so so so thankful for their existence and appreciate them for doing the best they can for us 😭💜 We armies will always cry with them, laugh with them, stay beside them! We'll embrace every side of them for they have done so much for us. Like you mentioned Sanne , BTS have accomplished so much that we don't even realise their growth! There was this scene in American Hustle life where Jimin watches fireworks and says in the camera, "How much does it cost to light up those firecrackers" and there went my tears rolling down my cheeks! It was heartbreaking yet it gave me such a strong impression! That's because they can now see and light up millions of fireworks, and this itself shows how passionate they were and the hard work and struggles they went through despite encountering all the hate 😭😭😭😭 Writing this make my heart melt! Their honesty is one of the biggest reasons I became an army and it was the best decision of my life. 💘They've made us happy even though we've never met in person, that's the power they hold! I genuinely wish nothing but happiness for them! I wouldn't have been able to get past my emotions I felt in the past if not for BTS and I'm always in debt towards them. They're a blessing, it's a whole other paradise! I'm an Army and I'm proud 💜💜💜💜
Not to forget, Permission to dance feels awesome, the line "when we fall we know how to land" this line portrays that even if pandemic exists, it will not be the end of us, because we have hope, we know how to move on! And that we believe that this world will heal and be better soon! Also, it's a really fun song to vibe to. One thing, I couldn't believe the rap line were actually singing, wow! When the pandemic is over once and for all, everyone should play Permission to Dance! It's like a victory song after you've won a match!!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Became an ARMY when I first clicked on War of Hormone and was hooked with the song. Starting then, I looked forward to BTS and watched all their Bangtan Bombs. I am so happy to witness their growth as a group, and to be part of this family💜

I found them since 2017, I was not into Kpop back then but who knows that now I'm into BTSpop! there is this popular line : "You found them at the right time", and I indeed found them at the right time, I was struggling with my own identity, being anxious all the time, and having a lower self-esteem. But with them (BTS) I finally find my own self. I cannot thank you enough for their existing... I love them so so much! and also I love ARMY!!!!

So here's my story of how and why i became an ARMY💜 so my friend group consisted of seven girls ,, and four of them were armys [btw i am talking about the year 2019] soo they used to talk a lot bout kpop and k dramas and what nott😆 especially BTS, honestly i didn't have any interest in kpop in those days,,sitting with them and listening about BTS stuffs always used to make me bored and most of the time they just used to talk about BTS so i sometimes used to feel alone and left out coz i got no topic to talk even with my friends 😟,, so one day i thought that let them talk whatever they want and I'll just keep listening to that and then i heard something like BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS and they started singing it,, i kinda liked it but not that much coz ofc my friends were singing it with their alien like voices😆😆I am sorry my frnds😆😆but yeah then i searched for that song i enjoyed it and started exploring more about Bts and became just a normal bts fan in 2019 and then i started loving them even more , i found their music to be very beautifuland finnaly became an ARMY 💜in 2020 AND NOW I WON'T EVER LEAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL FANDOM💜💜💜🥰SO SPECIAL THANKS TO MY FRIENDS FOR MAKING ME AN ARMY 💜💜 now i feel like "ughhhhhh !! why didn't i take interest over their BTS gossips earlier from the beginning"😩😝😝

I became an army at the start of the Covid19 global pandemic in March of 2020. I was in desperate need of music with a message of hope and comfort. Their music has brought such healing ever since and I will forever be grateful for the positivity and love that they put out into the world! 💜
I become ARMY back in 2018, it happened so quickly. At first I didn’t even know about kpop, but RUclips recommendations helped me out and recommended me a BTS song. (Fake love) I absolutely loved it and started to search up a little about them. I started knowing them, their stories etc. and what absolutely caught my attention was the meaning behind their songs. I had hard times back then and was so happy to discover these 7 boys that absolutely changed my life and view about life in a good way. I’m still very thankful for RUclips recommendations.🤣
I became an ARMY after my school friends invited me to watch MAMA2019 with them. I already listened to the Persona album before then, but I couldn't really call myself an ARMY back then because I was more of a casual listener. But after MAMA, I was extremely amazed by their performance and how much effort they put into it. I thought that no one came close to what they did. That's when I started following them as artists and people. The more I learned about them, the more I respect and love them. I took the time to learn about all their music and lyricism then also their life and personalities. I felt like I officially became an ARMY when I experienced my first Festa last year. I never met them in real life nor have I met the other ARMY that I've become friends with online, but I never felt more included. They thought me that the world is full of good people who are good because they choose to be.
BTS found me and saved me back in 2017. I'll be forever grateful! They have been my happy place ever since. I'm so proud to be ARMY 💜
I became an ARMY because BTS started with the Love myself campaign and I thought it was a beautiful message that they were trying to send. I got fascinated by their music because the lyrics and melodies gave me a lot of comfort. Most importantly because each member is so unique and you can clearly see how passionate they are.
Hello cokodive, I am ARMY since its debut, but I did not know it until I saw its growth. We grew up together and I love being ARMY, we are not only fans and idols, we are a different world and it is amazing to see how we are more and more. Every message that their songs leave me makes me not want to stop being an ARMY. I like being part of this great family, I hope this lasts for many more years.
I started listening to kpop and korean music back in 2009 and I remember BTS debuting and immediately thinking "they are going to take over my life" and they did 😂 I knew from the start that there was something different about them that made them stand out from the rest. I became an army because of that. (how different they were as well as how passionate they were from the start)
I feel so lucky to be one of the ARMYs who were with BTS right from debut💜 'til now! I remember just coming across their debut teaser and I remember how intrigued I was because they came on strong and had such different charisma to the other groups back then. I'm proud to be one of the OG ARMYs (although it doesn't really matter when you became a fan of BTS, as we all found them when we needed them the most!) It's so encouraging to see them grow and also grow alongside them; I've literally spent my whole teenage years to adulthood with them, and I wouldn't want it any other way!! I am honestly becoming more and more of an ARMY 💜every single day XD
Also PTD is such a joyful and uplifting song so I hope ARMYs continue to listen to it (along with Butter💛)
I became an ARMY when I was watching BTS videos to see what the hype was about. I wasn’t really interested at first but then when I watched Jungkook’s Euphoria I instantly fell for them. Bcs the first Kpop idol who can steal my heart is BTS. I've seen other boy groups but my feelings when I see BTS and see other idols are different. they laugh, play together, sing, and joke naturally. they can make me happy every day and everytime. I became an army in May 2020. I first came across Euphoria by Jungkook and fell in love with the song. This obviously led me to BTS.
