This was an awesome tutorial! I mean your voice is so soothing, patient and peaceful. And the angles of the camera and your attentiveness to detail made everything so easy to view. 👍🏾
Beautiful pendant and so easy to follow, your voice is so soothing I almost want a bedtime story from you. Just kidding love thanks for your time we appreciate you.
What a lovely little pendant! I many times find the simpler designs some of the prettiest and I think that this is in that category. You have done a wonderful job with it and I really like how you take your time to explain the different parts of the tutorial to make sure they are clear.
So stinkin cute ..just love this design! Forget-me-nots were my mother's favorite. Have been going thru problems an was praying yesterday..so when you video came up it was such a greatly appreciated and the design name didn't hit home til after I started writing this message..God bless you Kelly.. for Brightening my day in so many ways
Thank's so very much for sharing. Your work is just Beautiful. It's really simple and I Love that. I watch all of your video's. Thank's so much again. 💜💜💜
Thank you so much for the tutorial! I've made a few of these now, and on the bail, I've found that once I reach the halfway point on the bail, if I rotate the bail while I'm weaving then the weave is just about as tidy as the bottom bit.
PS: Have you ever tried bending your bale first & then wrapping it? I find that if I do it that way, the back side is more tidy than when I try to do it while the wires are flat. Hope this helps!
Beautiful work Kelly. I have several heart shaped non drilled stones. Would you consider making a simple tutorial on a design or wrap for a large undrilled heart?
Take your time, place each wrap one by one, it takes a lot of patience but can be quite enjoyable, I love watching the piece slowly unfolding. Also keep pushing the weave together as you go. Are you using 0.315mm weaving wire or 0.4mm (28g or 26g) ?? I find the thicker wire is harder work with. Thank you ❤️
Beautiful pendant. You are a good and thorough instructor. Very clear instruction. I can tell that you make good jewelry by the care you take at each step and this teaches us, your students to take care as well. Loved the tutorial but the sound quality was a bit off which is a bit distracting.
Hi Kelley, I'm so glad you've come onto the scene and brought some fresh ideas to the wire wrapping community for people like me who are just starting, and haven't got a clue how to do it myself! Thanks for sharing! QUESTION: Where do you buy the 28g wire that comes already on a bobbin? This wasn't listed with the rest of your links. Thanks in advance!
Thank you. I buy my wire from metalclays4u Cooksongold and scientific wires. Ive struggled to find the wire recently and the last wire I purchased was in bulk so they may have stopped doing it 🤔
@@KellyJJewellery Thanks Kelly, will do. Already made 2 of these, 1 copper & 1 silver now for a large square bead & a large twisted oval. Oh, the joys of being retired & able to do what I want.
I have a bunch a suede rope string cord whatever you call it that has no ending attached. Its just the cord its self. Manly because I cant find affordable neck chains that match well with the copper wire I use. So i bought a bunch of it in many different colors. I cant come up with a pretty way to dress up the cord to make it look nice with these wire wraps. Also should i just make it really long and tie a knot and the person can just pull it over their head? Should it be a slip knot so they can adjust the length that best suits them? Can you do some tutorials on using suede cord and how to dress them up instead of using neck chains? Thank you.
It’s so funny you should say that... I’ve been making slip knots and Chinese sliding knots all day as I use cords too. I was thinking of doing a tutorial on that. Great minds think a like 👍
You can get crimp clasps to go on the end I'm not sure what they are called but I'm sure someone can tell you. I'm new to jeweĺlery making but I'm loving it so far.
Such a pretty, dainty design! Since I'm just starting, I'm wondering why you didn't continue the wrapping wire all the way to the end? Design choice or practical situation? Thanks for a lovely tutorial!
Yes of course, if you buy stones from a manufacturer they sometime will drill the stones for you if you ask. I bought my lava bead from Etsy, I’ll find a link... etsy.me/2GNGGly or search ‘lava heart bead” on Etsy
I gathered everything together to do this pendant and realized at last minute the bead has a hole in it. I'm sick. Really wanted to create this but have no beads with holes I'd like this in. Can it be done with bead w/no hole? How would I trap the bead? Thanks
This pendant is designed for a bead but saying that someone on Facebook managed to make this with just a stone with no hole. Make sure to keep the wires tight around the stone, I think she did it with an oval shaped stone.
Thank you I’m in the UK, so I buy wire from metalclays4u and beadhouse, I did buy from Rio grand once in the US but the shipping was way too much to buy regularly I would recommend Rio if you can, they seem to have everything 😅
@@KellyJJewellery - i'm new at wire wrapping and have only used parawire. I'm in australia and i have to buy everything online and just want to know if there are other brands of dead soft that may be cheaper .. my hands are so sore. i've made 7 trees of life and just sold my first!!
Congrats on your sale. I think parawire is the cheapest unless you buy in bulk. I buy on the reel, so it’s expensive but lasts me almost a year, so works out better in the long run. I use metalclays4u on Etsy and eBay.
Thank God, you use real measurements "inches" what decent American doesn't use inches, feet, yàrds. Hallajuah I'm a fan already. Measurements I understand.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Yes, have a go. Try starting with more wires so it holds better 🌹
