Ok, so hear me out... I was born and raised in New Orleans and lived there until i was 37. My mom and I's favorite po boy has french fries, a smidge of mayo and is dowsed in beef gravy....sooo dang good!! Oh my gosh- dont get me started on how much I miss Drago's...I miss home!
If you’re worried about motion sickness, Abed’s mom gets super motion sick and does really well on cruise ships! Dramamine is your friend lol. Maybe try a short one to see if you can handle it and then go from there!
Chris is right, especially on the big ships. You truly barely feel a thingand if you're inside you wouldn't even know you're on a ship at all. RN here, get your doctor to prescribe you a scopolamine patch and put it on the day before you get on the ship. But really, unless you struggle with even car sickness easily, chances are you're going to be just fine even without it. Until you see a cruise ship up close and personal, it's hard to realize just how flippin HUGE they are, and you for sure do not feel motion on them like a smaller boat. If you DID get in a bind, you can always go down to medical and get a shot of Phenergan and that'll fix you right up.
I just love it that it’s called Dramamine.. the DRAMA is MINE! No, seriously when I’m aboard a cruise I personally have no problems with Sea sickness at all. The ship is like a solid Island. The DRAMA MINE though is up to the passengers. 🛳❤️
My partner and I boarded in Cozumel some years ago on the “Harmony of the Sea” as part of a Caribbean cruise and it was my favorite destination. We took a site seeing horse and carrage tour, visited a lovely Church (although we’re not religious), met with some local people in a bar and enjoyed the food so much. As a tourist it was amazing! I just loved the people. Jamaïca was a bit a disapointment because of the pushy sales people. But that’s one little opinion in a big World of thousands different opinions. I enjoy and love your channel so much! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 English is not my native language (it’s Flemish, a kind a Dutch/French we speak here in Belgium) so if I wrote some mistakes.. 😁 I’m still learning.
@@RandomRecessThank you so much for your kind reply! But I still don’t get the animal towels refferences.. to me they looked like two doves kissing instead of a lobster. I guess I’ll have to do some research into towel folding techniques. 😁🕊
Abed, I just loved your story about your parents and the beach. My own mother got us into cruising to begin with and didn't realize what a family monster she'd be creating. The ocean fixes my soul and I need a dose of it on a regular basis to keep my sanity. I VERY much appreciate people like you who put in the effort to make vids like these. They not only help in my planning, but they're also a huge escape for me when I am not on a ship. As you can tell, I very much enjoy taking a virtual cruise on RUclips and harassing the heck out of content creators with my excessive commenting :) OMG you got the oysters! I searched forever before going on Celebration to find someone who did to see if they were Drago's level. They were pretty darned close! There's a reason those are called the single best bite of food in NOLA. Only way I like oysters. My son, who can barely eat a fish stick, even loves them. I think Emeril's was hands down my favorite on Celebration. Plan to eat there MULTIPLE times on Jubilee. For what I paid for cruise and flight, that $20-50 meal for three of us is the least of it, especially considering how worth it the food is.
Do y'all know when the inaugural season ends? I'm going on the jubilee June 15 and was curious if I would be able to get some of the specialty dining included. Also, love this series that y'all are doing, it's giving me a bunch of ideas for my upcoming cruise! I'm glad that I found your channel!
It's not entirely clear. Carnival is pretty vague but usually for the first year of sailing. Jubilee started in December of 2023 so at least through December 2024. You are going to have so much fun. A new video drops soon, our last from this series. So sad to see it end but we are actually going back in August. :)
Thank you for that info! I am extremely excited about this trip. It will be my third carnival cruise, but first with my wife and daughter. I'm hoping they enjoy it as much as me so we can be a cruising vacation family lol.
I'm beach to hang out, people watch, get a tan and drink some boat drinks. If I actually want to get into the water- I'm a pool girl. Truth be told, I have never been to a beach that has clear, blue water- so.....I guess I could be swayed? 😂
Pools are for the ship and the home, we always go to the beach. Plus 100 strangers in the pool with you, most drinking,,,,,,,,and they never seem to get out to go to the bathroom! lolololololol.
I mean you didn't bash paradise but some of those low scores! They are always great to me 😂. But I am but a simple man haha! I am loyal to royal but I have a spa balcony booked for jubilee and all because of your vids thanks!!
The service was amazing and we definitely would go back. Not sure we ordered right TBH. Let us know what you think of Jubilee. We'll be back on Jubilee in August. We're excited to explore more of the ship. We really didn't get to all of it.
Of the main three, we rank them 1. Nachi, 2. Sancho's and 3. Paradise. Not really even that one is better or worse than the other, just based on how the vibes fit our personality. The only less than satisfactory visit we've had has been at Paradise though, this last cruise. Service was just not great. We were seated in a direct sun spot with no shade at all and I'm red and fair and essentially spontaneously combust in too much sun. I think our waiter was fairly put out with us moving up to the pool area. Just never really felt like we were in a dedicated spot, always an add on. Have had good visits there too though, so it was probably just a one off. We love the seating area at Mr. Sancho's. Tables with palapas are just a comfortable and shady set up, especially if you're a fat person like me. We just love Cozumel though, no matter what we're doing! I've ridden one of those pedicabs, because I managed to break my toe at Paradise Beach! There are for sure giant rocks there, so watch out and listen to staff when they tell you about them. Not their fault but maybe I am harboring some pent up subconscious hate there lol Pro tip: Water shoes.
We love Cozumel too. We know it’s like the Nassau of the West and almost every ship stops there that sails Western Caribbean but we love it. Sorry to hear about your toe that time, that is never easy to deal with.
@@RandomRecess thanks. It really did suck. If it wasn't a flip flop, I couldn't bear to wear it. Guess what kind of shoe I did not pack. Luckily cruising friend loaned me a pair. Coz might get called that, but I purposely avoid Nassau, and am coming up on my NINTH trip to Cozumel and am not even a little sad about that. Been to Nassau once, good with not going again;.
What is your favorite cruise port to visit? Have you been to Cozumel and where would you like us to go the next time we're in Cozumel?
We are going in October and have been watching many videos of Paradise Beach and hands down this has been the best one. Great job.
Aww thank you so much! That means a lot. Hope y’all have a great time!
Thanks, I'm not going on carnival, I am stopping at Costa Maya and Cozumel with Grandkids, enjoying your reviews. Thanks again
Thanks so much, and have a blast!

We need to get back to NOLA, it has our favorite food!!!
Love your videos -
Never been on a cruise! So scared I’m going to be sick the whole time 😢

We didn’t realize till we got back but we were on the same cruise as y’all and we even saw y’all at Paradise.
😂 hope y’all had a fun cruise!
We sure did. Have another one booked in August. 😂
So do we…maybe the same cruise. How funny would that be. Hope y’all have a blast.
Ours is a quick 4 day one on the Breeze. That would be cool if it’s the same one. Y’all have a great trip as well.
Look at you shouting out Drago’s. I live in Louisiana and love them.
We love them too and need to get back out there soon.

Just love watching them play in the water. It honestly makes the trip sometimes. They don’t get out as much.
Fun video. Need to book a cruise now.
Yes you do!
I loved Emerils on the Mardi Gras! Prob the best meal I had while on the cruise other than Shaqs fried chicken and Guys burgers
Yasssssss
LMAO!! You are SOOO close, Chris!! It's pronounced phonemically like: nack - a -dish, but you gotta say it fast or it sounds crazy. 😁
Good to know!

so on carnival you don't pre pay for specialty dining restaurants??
You can prepay for specialty restaurants and it’s always best to do that so they don’t sell out. You can do that on the Carnival.com website
going on celebration in december
Hope you have fun. We’re scheduled for Celebration later next year.
how do u think it will be here solo?
Should be a good time no matter what.
BAM!!!!!
Right! Gotta Bam it up. We will have a LOT of Bam in our last Cruise video.
Hello,No jet ski
We definitely need to go back. We sometimes run out of time while filming and enjoying ourselves. Hard to get to everything.
100% beach. I have a pool
There’s nothing quite like your toes in the sand 😊
I didn't see all drinking Nything, that was disappointing
Oh, drinks were drank that day trust me 😂
He should have showed some of the drinks that they had
