This video is an absolute joke. 90% of what you said was a mistake or just a flat out lie. Idaho is the most expensive state to live in, average home prices are three times what they were 5 years ago, and $800 a month rent? try more like $2,000 to $2,500. Everything that used to be good and decent about this state is slowly turning around and making it ugly. Plus, all the outsiders moving to Idaho and buying up the cheap land, then turning around and selling or renting it for 100% profit is what's driving housing prices and out of control inflation. we don't need any more of that here. by the way, you need to learn how to pronounce just about every city name or park name that you named in the video. it's obvious you've never even been here.

Maybe the video is misdated, should be 2011, not 2021. I have pretty much given up on moving to Idaho. Too expensive, schools not as good as video says.

Wish you would STOP telling everyone about IDAHO. So many people have moved here its over run with them. You cant do the things we used to do anymore. There are to many people here now. Traffic is like L. A. What used to take 20 min. to get from point A to point B now takes an hour or longer. Crime has really gotten bad in the last 2 years. Housing is the highest in the country. Idaho WAS beautiful. ITS NOT ANY MORE!!!

Idaho WAS a great state to live in. The huge influx of out of state transplants and money have rendered Boise and the rest of Treasure Valley unaffordable and pushing out locals. Its disappointing. Average home prices are so outrageous it is not practical for average families.

As a person born and raised in Nampa Idaho, I must say Nampa is very underrated. Nampa is actually a very nice place

You've obviously never been there in the winter. Meridian Boise eagle garden city have very moderate winter weather in comparison to the rest of the state which can be brutal.those cities above are all part of what's known as the treasure valley that extends from Boise west 60 miles to Ontario Oregon. Most years there is almost no snow.

When I think of a great place to live in Idaho I choose a nice little town in Michigan. Winters are tough. My younger brother(72) mountianmans it in Elk City. No cell phone service. Gets snowed in. Oh no not for me. You can have it. Bears, big ones.
Check the local pronunciation of city names and places before you make a video. Just because it may look like its spelled A Mon, its not. Just ask Briggs. Brew Now Sand Dunes?

this is not exactly accurate though I love IDAHO because its the state I live in and it has great hunting fishing boating hiking all that and its a very pretty place but the rent is high and there is still two places you needed to add and that being IDAHO CITY and CAREY IDAHO those places are mostly for those who like the outdoors mostly hunting fishing and hiking boating I think this video was not very true but IDAHO is still a great place to live its a great kind community but if you don't like guns be careful because like 85% of IDAHO residents are gun lovers mostly REXBURG area and CAREY area and basically all of the pan handle and the IDAHO CITY area but that might little high I am just assuming on my family and friends and people I know though its a great place to be and northern and middle area and even south east below mars there are forests anyway that's IDAHO! 😅

If you consider $1250 per month for a 1 bedroom, 652 sq. ft., apartment “modest” by all means move to Idaho Falls!
I could go on about the issues in the other suggested towns, however it would be a much too long comment on my part.
One thing I will add is that if ANYONE believes the “$800 per month rent” remark for ANY of these towns I have some gorgeous ocean front property in Utah I’ll sell you dirt cheap!!

Having lived in Idaho for over 20 years and traveled the state, you have the wrong directions and pictures of various areas. Shoshone Falls is on the east side of Twin Falls. Twin Falls is 160 miles southwest of Idaho Falls.
Meridian, ID is to the west of Boise and not the east.
The pictures of downtown Boise are not found in Moscow, ID.
Pronouncing Ammon, ID was totally wrong.
There are even more mistakes in your presentation.
You need to better check your facts before you make your next video of Idaho.

I lived in Montana and graduated from College in Missoula. I love Montana, but with my daughters moving to the east coast, I’ll be following. There are so many things I hate about Idaho.
