    Feasibly, the full AI generated videos in the future could be built upon a framework like this. A compilation of stock footage first, and then the AI generation tool has many frames of reference to draw upon so it isn't going to go too far off script.

      Nah, they will be able to generate the entire content from start to finish.
      They just need better understanding of the subjects to create more coherent images/frames (literally what a multimodal will be able to do), and larger token output.
      We will have Hollywood (the good old one) level movies made entirely by AI with a simple prompt in less than 2 years.

    Thanks Matt! I’m already seeing AI generated content flooding RUclips Shorts (many “celebrity gossip” vids). It’s incredibly impressive tech, but I find the AI voices with their monotonous affect strangely unpleasant to listen to. I almost find robotic voices more appealing. Kind of doubt this. It's using very generic stock-videos that don't actually show anything of use, and the script/voiceover provides nothing of substance. It's a PoC and nothing more. No one would watch any of these videos. On a higher level, I think people are going to disengage more and more from AI-generated content as soon as they sense it (hear that generic AI voice, see stock video, etc). People are going to appreciate human-generated content, art, and products more and more.

    As a filmmaker, this seems like an amazing tool for making films with stock footage, like if you were making a video essay. Having said that, if Alfred Hitchcock were here, he'd punch AI in the face. That was the least cinematic film ever. AI needs to reach the next level of converting all the words into actions so we can SEE the story. What it created was a book-reading with moving images as illustrations

    Thank you so much! Very useful! I tried sample prompt test. I really loved the AI narration - it is authentic. The story telling and music and background score was compelling. You may not be able to use it, to make short film or film yet. It is a collection of 'video - montage'. It grabs video samples from the database to go with the prompt. So it is not AI generated video - where video is generated by an algorithm pixel by pixel. If I want to tell a story with the same character it fails. Characters change in different samples. On the other hand this would work great for a narration for content creators, this would automate the prcoess.

    Can’t wait for this to be built into Adobe Premiere or something like that with the stock footage being licensed automatically and embedded in the timeline without any unnecessary compression beforehand. It’s definitely a fun tool but not really that useful if you can already edit and have access to stock footage as it’s only really the voice actor audio that is something I couldn’t already do easily and the rest is just basic stock footage that doesn’t always fit what was entered but it’s a cool gimmick though just not exactly game changing for me but maybe it will get better.

      "Forget the 'losing jobs' thing. We will have to reskill and upskill to stay in the game."
      This has been happening since the beginning of time. No one ever "REALLY" loses their jobs. I am 50 years old and have seen it over and over again. People learn new skills and move on to something bigger and better. The scared people are the younger folks who have not experienced life and do not realize that humans have always adapted to change.

    • @AG_before
      @AG_before 11 месяцев назад

      @@sun-eye That's what I mentioned in my second comment. I'm 49,retired as a Creative Director 10 months ago, and am starting my own business. I was going to focus on just voice over first. I have to pivot now. That's fine, but it presents many learning curves. And we can agree to disagree that we can't make the statement 'No one ever"REALLY" loses their job" absolutely binary. Many adapt _because_ they lost their jobs and since created new jobs, yes. But nonetheless, they lost their prior jobs. I'll rephrase: We will need to get creative and create new jobs because placing current skillsets will no longer be enough of an asset.

    Thing is, this will mean the end for what it says it's made for, like "shorts". In five years no one will see other peoples' "Shorts", but just make their own, based on relevance, and it might even be curated for your interests, like every day you wake up to a hundred movies of different lengths, made for you and you alone.
    A period of "look at this cool movie my AI made for me!" will emerge initially, sure, but soon we will reside in nothing but our own highly subjective bubbles. For good and bad.
