But sal Vindagnyr wasn't contaminated yet when the nail fell. It was as punishment for breaking one of the laws most likely. Or just the new Kingdom that overpowered the primordial wiping cities with knowledge of the primordial and the war agains a contender? Wipe out witnesses????
@@ongseungwu4311 iirc it is said that the primordial one created Celestia and if he wasn't that means someone who's as powerful as him or even stronger created Celestia
Loving the lore breakdown videos spree so much. Here are a few underrated topics you might wanna cover later on for lore : 1) the three realms 2) fall of gurabad 3) the four winds of mondstadt 4) skirk (childe’s trainer) 5) hexenzirkel (spoiler : it has some lore in windblume festival) 6) guhua clan 7) 7th darshan of akademiya
I've heard the theory about Varka maybe being a descendant of Imaunlkr but the Blood stained knight being a descendant would be very interesting, either that or both are descendants. That would be one heck of a plot twist! But also kind of neat, especially if the Capitano is the Knight theory ends up being true. On another note I wonder if Kaeya's line ( Interesting Things ) about the owl of Dragonspine and the owls mentioned in the wings of concealing snow are the same thing? In the Shepherd and the Magic Bottle a Jinni calls humans Ravens so maybe owls are a nickname for a specific race? But its possible that their both talking about two completely different things. Anyway, I hope we get more stuff centered around Dragonspine, the cold slowly killing me is annoying but the lore is interesting.
I would love if one day the snow can melt on dragon spine. Would be cool if we could help the tree grow larger and maybe that would fix the weather issues. It would be neat to find more ruins that were burried deep under snow and more lore. We will have the cold mechanics in the 7th nation so no need to have them there, also it just would be nice if it fit more with rest of Mondstadt
I personally wonder if the Skyfrost Nail was dropped because the nearby mountain, Pilos, had an entrance to the Abyss at its peak (Unreconciled Stars event). The Hilichurlian Language Guide has a footnote of “dadaupa means big mountain”, implying Dadaupa Gorge is the hole left where Pilos Peak once stood before Barbatos cut it down; remnants became the Golden Apple Archipelago and Musk Reef. However, the timeline is confusing in that Leonard’s account (1500 years ago?) stated there was nothing on Pilos, but there are mentions and remnants of civilization.
Oh boy, now that I've got more context for the events on Dragonspine my end of version visits to the mountain are going to involve a lot more thinking about how sad it all is
Sal Vindagnyr could have been around the time after the primordial one was challenged by the second throne. 🤔 Or around that time. I wonder if they are survivors or also part of thay primordial civilization. 🤔🤔
This is a well composed video. I have a feeling that in two years or less we can put some more pieces together about the story of Dragonspine and by extension Rhinedottir and members of the Abyss
i cant wait for you to start putting some elements from honkai in your theories since its well known that both of the games share the same universe and there's so much corelation between the characters (wendy - venti, mei - raiden, theresa - nahida, himeko - murata (natlan's archon), seele - probably (maybe) fountaine's archon, bronya - the tsaritsa, kiana/maybe sirin herself- the unknown god). there's also a scene shown in honkai where otto sees dvalin when looking through some footage (its pretty obvious that its dvalin), there's a mention of sumeru located in a paralel dimention, created by su, andrius is one of the bosses in memorial arena, also i'm pretty sure that fountaine has been mentioned as a city. there's also the whole thing with the symbol of the imaginary type battlesuits and the symbol on paimon's outfit and the one on mora. i wouldn't really count fischl and keqing appearing as playable characters in honkai in the same cathegory tho. i totally get tho why you wouldn't use honkai in your theories, they could end up ridiculous since the exact corelation between genshin and honkai isn't clear. hey, but maybe! i was just watching your theory about the missing harbinger and in the part about the innamorati you mentioned ' maybe someone that tsaritsa loved'. based on honkai we could theorise that it could be seele, creating a potential relationship between both the nations of fountaine and snezhnaya or something. but if you have some free time on your hands, it might be a cool thing to look into!

I dont know why, but i love dragonspine's music too much
Because it’s the best
Facts
I’d say it gets even sadder when you understand the lore behind it
Me too
Ironic that the blizzards and snows now cover none of mondstadt except the mountain
dragonspine is full of mysteries/lore and the music is my favorite and i wish to see a descendant of Imunlaukr clan in the future event story of it

Wasn't there a frostarm lawachurl that is named ukko or something? I thought ukko got hilichurled because of it.
Oh that’s right, I forgot about that Lawachurl. Hilichurls did exist before the Cataclysm, so it is possible for them to be the same.

I was searching for a detailed lore about dragonspine and after searching for hours your was the best one!!!
Always wondered how part of Durin’s jaw ended up on the opposite side of the mountain to the rest of its body
Probably because Dvalin ripped his throat and the jaw came with it.
Poor durin 😕

Video I've been waiting for most this week
I didn't know about this yet 😮 wow
For some reason I only have 2 of those artifacts... Knowing my luck I fused the other ones a couple years ago.
I hope she sees these comments giving her praise and compliments cuz she doesn’t get enough
Amazing exposition as always! Love your videos!
Hmm surprised you didn’t mention that monstadt archaeological team
Saving that for the Eberhart video!
No reason for why skyfrost nail was dropped in the first place?
I completely forgot to mention why, I’ll pin a correction in the comments, thank you!
Any videos on the eras before the arcon war ?
Estoy triste por la muerte del dragon-
We need turkish subtitles
So why did celestia sent the nail down? I don't seem to follow
I’ll put a correction in a pinned comment, I forgot to add that bit, thank you!
The people of Sal Vindagnyr probably discovered forbidden knowledge since that is the usual cause for getting nailed by Celestia.
