Best-ever comparison between any speakers in recent times. Can actually hear the difference. Clever you ! Especially great comparing these well seasoned models. Love them both ! Initially streamed via car stereo and just now with headphones (Mezze 99 and Dragonfly Cobolt). Thanks for posting.
Nice! I also own both H2s and F1s and have enjoyed them, though I think each can benefit from DSP multiamping and tweaks as my much-preferred LaScala-anchored DIY system does. I've often recommended that Heresy owners boost the bass with a tone control, as being sealed boxes they can take moderate bass boost without woofer excursion problems. This video demonstrates that well.
Great comparison video. I've had Heresy 1.5s for some time and just picked up Forte 1s due to your earlier review video. So this was fun to hear the difference on the st70.
If The recording is limited to say, 45hz there won’t be much of an audible difference in the bass. The mid range however, there is a striking difference being that the fortes presents the vocals further back in soundstage vs the Heresy IIs. But the heresy IIs are awesome and have always been legendary. I think I prefer the sound of the lil’ Heresy 2s in this demonstration. There is just something more inviting between toggling back and forth (from my cruddy headphones here at work.)

Great comparó! I’m on the fence about what to look for on either model, I’ve got a better idea now! Thanks for the demo.
Love the dog, “s’cuse me whilst I scratch”.
that dog thinks, oh dear Christmas again😄

Are Heresy II worth $1400 Canadian? I found a pair for sale and was wondering if it's a good deal.
If the condition is excellent
Excellent comparative testing! Music instead of talking! 3 o'clock bass not necessary. Prefer the Forte.
Excellent comparison.
Lol @ the dog..
Perhaps you mentioned it but I'm curious if you updated the crossovers on either of these speakers. If so, what did you go with?
Dog is star of show, sorry Frank!
The Heresy sounds better in this demo. Just more natural.
What`s with the Forte`s on legs ?
Never seen Forte`s on legs...mine don`t have legs my are the 1s.
3 o'clock bass obviously too much. Prefer the Heresys in this demo.
Doggo not impressed....
