I have a twin brother and watching the Quays talk reminds me of how my brother and I speak when we're together. I can feel the Quays telepathy. I know when they're experiencing it and when each one is speaking their mind independently. Only twins that are close would know what I'm talking about. It's an unspoken trait amoungst twins.

I've met a lot of identical twins because of the genetic research I was part of. What I find interesting in the Quays, is we can hear them interrupting each other and having very independent ideas. Not something you see that often in twins that have been in contact with each other throughout their lives. There tends to be intuition so well-honed that it looks like telepathy, but not here. These brothers are very much their own introverted individuals, something that must add to the power of their creations.
