I have to agree...I live here and the food is horrible. My husband and I struggle to find decent restaurants. On top of that, these health scores of some of these restaurants are scary. Best smoked turkey leg I had was in North Carolina. I forgot the name of the restaurant but I believe it was in Monroe, NC. Also, I will honestly say that food here back in the 80's and early 90's was on point. However, with the influx of transplants since the mid 90s from other places thinking they can open restaurants and cook southern food is laughable. Horrible soul food, seafood, and some of the worst bbq imaginable right here in Atlanta.
At this point, I’m gonna be praying for him to try any restaurants in Newnan, Grantville, Carrollton, LaGrange, Palmetto… or any of the smaller cities. Much love to ATL and Metro-ATL, but if he’s having a bad experience within that area, then maybe the smaller, less-known cities in GA may be a contender🤷🏽♂️
