This game is just awesome....got a 6.222 on my Asus N550J, that was like my best of 6 tries though.

I love this podcast, I always listen to this when I'm going to bed and stay up to date with all the new tech. It will be interesting to see who gets the fastest score and there will probably be someone who will get 200wpm on it
I would dare say he's well thought out.... Look at his pace, and his conversation and speaking style. He doesn't seek to piss you off and then say "oh well if you're mad" He has back story and meaning behind what he's telling you. "Real Context" When you know someone is well thought out it lets your guard down so you can truly absorb what you are hearing.

Normally i can type pretty well, like 50-60WPM, without looking down at the keyboard but when typing the alphabet i couldn't get under 10 seconds without looking at my keyboard.

You guys should screen record your laptops during all of the podcasts so you can show the articles you look at, or in this case, the typing.

Typing the alphabet quickly is how I learned to touch type originally, via an old flash game called "finger frenzy" which is basically the same thing as that website. I think my pb was ~1.5, maybe a smidge under

@@a-force6021 I'm actually pretty average by comparison for regular typing at around 60-90 words per minute. I can type quickly but I'm sloppy. I make a lot of mistakes so I'm slowed down by needing to backspace and retype a lot. The few times that I've tested my WPM with little to no mistakes though I've gotten around 100-120 wpm, but that's really unrealistic for me most of the time.
As I said in my original comment, I am very well practiced at typing the alphabet specifically. Plus, that's only the best of multiple attempts. The majority of my alphabet attempts don't actually succeed.

6.583 was my fastest time (4th try) on the new XPS 13. I love this keyboard.

My best on a laptop keyboard is 3.717, though I did try multiple times.
Typing the alphabet fastest was a flash game on like addicting games or miniclip.
My fasted on my MacBook Pro is 7.59, I'm sure I could knock it down to sub 6 considering I'm still new to this keyboard/laptop.

I think it would make more sense to show time between letters, not a elapsed time. Also maybe a graph would be nice, in numbers it's harder to comprehend how fast I actually am. Other than that, 10/10 idea.

1st try: 9.873 seconds
2nd try: 8.78 seconds
3rd try: 7.13 seconds.
The trick must be like, the brain gets accustomed to what pattern you are trying to set.

Lol third try I got 5,029 seconds typing the alphabet
I got 8.543s. I'm just happy I got under 10s as someone who doesn't touch-type.
Next you gotta do it on a phone keyboard. It's harder I think. Wanna see Marques do it...

Third time I got Time: 9.967s, think the first time was around 13 and the second was around 11.
Normally I'm not a fast typer, when I type fast I always misspell like crazy.
First try: 5.869 second try: 5.815 third try: 4.929 also on the Keychron. For reference my normal typing speed is around 100 WPM.
All their guests are now going to practice at home.
my best was 8.8 after several attempts. For someone who doesn't type a lot I am happy
the qwerty layout definitely doesn't lend itself to the alphabet due to the spacing between common and uncommon letters/letter combinations, I got a respectable 6.918, but Marques's first time was insane
I had really bad scores on my phone's gboard though ..

I tried doing this, every time I get to Q my hand immediately goes to U next cause all Q words are followed by U in English lol.
I had a full 1.5 second gap between a 100% keyboard with mx blues and a 65% with Gateron Browns, honestly wondering why i got a second keyboard for typing given im apparently both slower and less accurate on it. Also removing my watch got me about 0.3 seconds averaged across several attempts, couldn't say why other than maybe it catching on the edge of my desk threw whatever coordination i have off?
Magic Keyboard, best of 3 was my second attempt with 5.06 seconds - this app needs an accuracy feature though

My first attempt was 4.6. Dang just missed out!

5.5 was my best time, also the only time that i didn't mess up
In my first three tries, I only got down to 8.322. Now, I'm down to a little over 5 seconds
My third attempt was 6.066s
I did 6.9 secs with 2 or 3 finger typing in total. 3 tries. Third one was the best. Second one was 7.5 secs and first one was wrong sequence of alphabets.
Edit: Just tried again for the 4th time and got 5.8 secs.

I got 16 seconds but i type with 3 of 10 digits because of a fine motor skill disability - but I average about 60-65 wpm
8.622s first try, not too bad. No pressure. :P I honestly taught that it would take me 20s.

I couldn't beat Marques, got a 5.8 on my 5th attempt, but I did get a 6.553 using only my index fingers.

Ok so the palm rest really does makes an impact. My best was 5.009 in like 20ish attempts. But then, i rested my palms and in first attempt got 4.539s 😮

So about the weird flex at 4:28... M got the phrase wrong. Most Americans seem to... hell Microsoft has it wrong in their Office tutorials.
It is "jumps" not "jumped". That s is the only one in the phrase but you already have multiple letters e from "the" as well as "over" and a d in "dog"
