I would love that that button to turn off the mask can be put on a brazier or remote control, so you ax it from anywhere without taking your hand to the mask. just imagine being inside a tube with stretched bases and not being able to touch the mask. We leave it to you homework friends.
why does it need to turn off after 5min if it turns on automatically anyway?

I have a question: Why 9100xxi suddenly darks the screen, if you look at to a mobile phone screen? If you look at to a flash light or a led lamp, it doesn't dark the screen. How do you explain it?
Dogan Yilmaz your phone uses infrared tech to sense how far your face is from your phone when making calls, infrared is a form of UV and will set off the sensor

Or when a forklift trucks flashing light activates it from a long distance away with you're welding screens closed.. And the adf's buttons covering rubs through.. We'll on my 9100xx the power button.. At least with the 9100xxi the auto on should solve it..

nah its still green
Nope still ugly green, much like the harbor freight hoods. Doesn’t seem worth the price when other cheaper hoods have more natural colors.

Hi agguilar, the external grind button is located on the new silver front cover, however it can only be used with the new Speedglas 9100XXi welding lens. If you are wanting to upgrade to the 9100XXi auto-darkening lens with external grind mode, we would suggest going for the Speedglas 9100XXi lens upgrade kit (part number 500126) which will give you the new lens and front cover. Thank you

Where can you get side window replacement?
Hi Art - the SideWindows are not a replaceable spare part. The best way is to purchase a new helmet shell. Let us know if there's anything else we can assist with.
AWS buying a new shell to replace the side windows which are prone to scratches easily? Yeah, I’ll pass on this helmet then.
Can i use my cheater lens with this hood?
Hi Ronnie. Yes, the Speedglas 9100XXi series can be used with a Speedglas cheater lens!
