I have a small magnolia stellata planted early last year it flowered for the first time this spring, started colouring up for autumn about a fortnight ago and was very surprised to see buds on it today. I am in the midlands. I have no idea of the history of this variant, when I bought it I was expecting it to be an ordinary pink tulip shaped flower, was very surprised by it! Looking closer the picture on the label was pink but in small letters it said Stelatta. The snails had a munch on it in the spring, so shall have to protect it a little.

Спасибо. Очень интересно и для Подмосковья
And as for the second flowering, does the Felix Jury magnolia also bloom a second time in August?
