Agreed man . That whole display looks great. I love that he puts the best version of the character's (that he owns) all in such dynamic stances. I'm looking into doing something similar with my AoA collection . I'm getting AoA Magneto for my birthday coming up (as well as the new Sabertooth from the Bone Breaker wave, I love that face sculpt). Anyway sorry for the long winded rant , I just very much agree with your comment. Hope you doing well my friend.

Not for me im afraid. Personal opinion, it looks awful. But, each to their own. I think mezco are at their best when it comes to normal looking clothes like punisher or logan
Yes!!! I'm glad you like him :) He's absolutely wearing a sock. He looks like he's at a sleepover in pajamas. However he really grew on me and I love having him in my collection. Sorry if we peer pressured you into it :)

so hilarious that you were almost out the door without buying him. I am glad you are happy with your single sock purchase. He looks like he is wearing long johns. The unfortunate part with the figure is it actually matches the photographs that made me think NOPE, although I have to say I like the accessories a lot. I always appreciate when you review a figure like these because you always save me money. Thanks.

He definitely has the sock issue and the suit doesn't look very futuristic. Mabey something similar to the hot toy 2099 suit or ciclops looking suit would work but the cap is a nice touch. At the very least they could have done something with the emblem it just looks so lame. For mesco I give it a 4.5/10
To me he's everything I wanted for Miguel. The only thing I would change is the unmasked headsculpt. Just feel like they are off the mark on it a bit. So I'm glad you grabbed this thing at the con. At the end of the stream it was a total "Will he? Won't he?" situation lol. Sly Dave. He's an 8.5/10 for me. Best Spider Mezco release thus far.

Dammit man, I was crazy to buy it, I saw others reviews and people seems to force too much theier positive review, but when you speak, you were real in all words. You show the positive and mainly the negative points of it. I love the accesories, heads and hands are fantastic! And the possibilities for poses, are awesome... but the suit... it realy looks a baby in a spider costume lol. The comparisson with cyclop suit was very fair, they realy could done more. I duno now, if I get one... Thank you for the best review of this figure!

I agree, he definitely need more decals or lines to split up the suit, even if it's just in the rib or waist area. They also could've done more with the cape. The best parts of the figure for me is the masked headsculpt and the body they used for miguel because he looks beefy. If they did more designs in suit he would've very intimidating like his Across Spider-Verse counterpart. All things aside, I still would like the figure. He is very hard to get these days and very pricey

hey dave nice roast review. passed on mezco. due this sock costume. detail IT WILL CRACK and PEEL for overtime especially when you tend to pose this from time to time. id rather spend my cash on mafex. will just wait for the mafex version of 2099.

Just joined the other channel man. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us. I must admit I haven't kept up with wrestling in some time but I was a huge fan of Macho Man, Undertaker, The Hulkster and Jake the Snake. I've been looking into Japanese wrestling And I'm liking what Im seeing. Very committed, awesome walk outs. Anyway I hope this figure didn't set you back too much and you enjoy it ( and if not find it a new home for some green)

In defense of the "sock" opinion--his outfit was originally just a party costume that happened to be the only clothes he had that wouldn't be torn by his claws (because they are made of unstable molecules, ala the FF costumes), so it was never meant to look techy or particularly futuristic.
The "cape" was also meant to act as an airfoil to help slow his falls and move through the air better, so not just for looks.
(I am rereading the series now, which is why I am aware of all these little details, sorry!)

All the Star Wars figures I need are available and so are all the ninja turtles but the turtles cost more and I can only get one, I’m super conflicted
I don't mind the sock too much.
I tend to forgive the limitations of the cloth for a 6" scale figure especially if it is a body suit. He is also a bit thicker than other Mezco Spideys as well. Each spidey is also made with different fabrics.
You should try getting some type of mezco figure that wears a suit of any kind. Those display perfectly. I'm not sure if you're a big DC guy but Two Face has a really kickass figure.

Hmmmm, well, I thought it would be better, but this costume, this material and this spider web, it doesn't look too good for me. It looks like he really is wearing a pijama. And well maybe it could work with regular spidey but this? NOPE And he's way too muscular for me. Unfortunately, this is such a serious disadvantage that I can say right away that I do not want this figure, maybe it has a nice design and accessories and nice articulation but this material? It looks a bit poor to me. I am also glad that I am not buying them. I can save much more on it and instead of one such I can buy 5, 6 or 7 Legends (depends)
I will stay with ML. Eventually they'll release that spider on the better body it deserves and brighter blue and red and everything.

He is a bit socky, and how you pointed it out that it looks like someone wearing a Spidey 2099 costume, to me it fits considering his original costume was just a modified Dia de Los Muertos costume. So his first appearance suit was just a plain fabric suit, not his futuristic costume like he has later on. But yeah, the cape kinda sucks lol

Dammit Dave, you had a ML 2099 Miguel, and while it wasn't the greatest it would have been quite the comparison. The irony is real with this figure, the company that is known for poor making source designs makes an accurate design poorly. That onesie is tight, and his bulge is jarring.
