If you ever get a chance, you'd love going to one of her seminars. I had the privilege of going to one in brooklyn. There was about ten of us, which was perfect. She's attentive and knowlegeable. She's amazing!
I saw women of Chad using Chebe in their hair. It is a powder made from a plant mixed with water to form a paste. The mixture is then applied to the hair like a mask. There is a video on this process on youtube. This product could be ordered on line. I guess if you have a store that sells African hair products you can find it there.
Love your videos! Your knowledge is massive and your willing to share and help is a blessing. You always explain the hair issues and your step by step plan to repair. You always answer questions with honesty. I have watched most of your videos and many of them more than once. Keep up your good work!
I always use white vinegar rinse and sometimes baking soda for washing my hair. My hair has no odor ever I just prefer baking soda and use conditioner non protein. My mother has used vinegar for years to rinse. Much more economical and my hair grew so fast. Using the baking soda with water to clean and vinegar rinse , not together because it will foam out of the bottle
I used to go to a Salon long time ago name SIMPLY RAW IN LOS ANGELES and they did the cold water rinse after the 2 plus 1 conditioner it made the hair really silky.
OMGOODNESS!!!! The amount of knowledge that you gave in this one video that SPECIFICALLY pertained to and helped me is absolutely amazing!!! You are truly awesome!!! Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions! My hair will most definitely benefit from it! #yourockgirl
Hello, I'm natural. Been for about 17 years. My problem is that my hair webs. I stop going to my stylist because I felt that she wasnt caring for my hair by combing it and ripping through the webbing. What can I do to fix this. It also happens with my daughter(23) hair whom never had a perm. Please I've tried so any different shampoos and conditioners.
Yes, it's way easier to do in the water but I wouldn't suggest it only because in the water, your hair is at its most weakest point. I would maybe apply a lot of oil (coconut, olive, tea tree, castor, etc.. doesn't matter) to help detangle the area, and then wash the hair. But, if that's not what you wanna do, do what you do, I guess. 🤷♀️
I know this is an old video, but I don't understand rinsing the hair with cold water to lock in a conditioner that is supposed to be rinsed out thoroughly. Isn't that a process that should be used with the "leave -in" conditioner rather than the "rinse out" conditioner?
I never could understand what's the point in closing the hair scales/cuticles with cold water only to reopen it with heat (i.e. dryers, flat irons, etc)? None of the instructors I ever had could give me an answer. 😳
One of my favorite leave ins. And I love seeing that we use the same products,, You give excellent info that is a lot of the same educational info I give my clients.
I have permed hair but very tender headed, what a good shampoo and conditioner, from clarifying to shampoo and a good protein and my hair is think and long , lord I need to cut it
Yea i dont think the acv & BS step was a good move, maybe as a one off but not every month or so. That baking soda concoction i would avoid because it can cause damage further down the line.
A good clarifying shampoo would do the trick. The adhesive can be removed by a product made to remove hair glue! Every beauty supply carries it! Its oil based and won't damage the hair. Omg...i just cringe watching this.

I wash my hair every two weeks with pantene pro-V shampoo/conditioner since I was seventeen years old. I'm 62 years old now, and I miss my long hair. PLEASE help.

My daughter has eczema in her scalp. Mostly in the back in the middle. Her hair is not shedding badly at the moment. But her hair is not full. Its thin because of the loss of hair in the past year. Ive been using Jamacan black Caster oil by Shea Moisture. Only applying heat once or twice a week and greasing scalp with blue magic hair conditioner. Is there anything else I can do to get the fullness back to her hair.

Google it. Any style where the hair doesn't brush up against your shoulder or back. So, an updo, but make sure it's not in a TIGHT ponytail. You could do a wig, a braid, a weave, etc. Many do that mostly during the winter time and when there's a lot of wind or so during the season. A protective style is a style that protects your hair from debris and protecting your ends from breakage at all costs. A bun is good. I usually take a clip and put the hair up because I have long hair. That's something I utilize a lot.
Not being mean hut but you need to come to Maryland and take a class with the N company that does nothing but Natural hair they are the best, you comb the hair like you was combing her hair, they are the best with detangling hair and massaging the scalp
What kind of shampoo and conditioner is great to use? I use Cantu shampoo and conditioner but before I use my comb dryer I use a wide tooth comb to comb through my hair and it take alot of my hair out. What can I use and bbn or do to keep my hair from coming out in my comb?
Hard water is the devil man, I have it too but to combat it you need to use a shampoo that has hard water resistant surfactants to resist the mineral deposits that hard water puts on the hair. Hard water can cause thinning of the hair, dryness and turn the hair a dusty brown looking colour. Try www.malibuc.com/products/cn/5940/Hard-Water-Wellness-Hair-Remedy. If you are spraying your hair daily with water and its hard water that also isn't helping, use distilled water or something like aloe juice, rose water etc. Hope this helps
