Depression is a liar and will manipulate you.thats why taking is so helpful to get a little clarity away from yoir own thoughts. When we are at the lowest point in our lives, we tend to believe that we are helpless and nothing will ever make us happy anymore. Actually, no. Each time, we try to kill ourselves, someone somewhere is struggling to live another hour just so that they can see their love ones for the last time. Lives are precious. Live, and live well. Our hearts are still beating for a reason. Embrace every single second and live well.

I miss you Chester and I can't listen to One More light as an album without crying... my biggest regret in my life is never seeing you live and I was holding up pretty well in this video until it showed that picture of Chester saying the first of 2017 or something like that and then I just lost it😭😭😭...I owe this man my life because he saved mine... If I had the chance to do anything It would be to bring Chester back... it's October 22 2019 and Im still missing him every day just as much as when that dreadful news came 2 years ago😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I was sitting at my computer crying and very suicidal listening to Linkin Park when it came across the screen that he was gone , I cried for a week . It wasn't because my Idol was gone , it was because I had been through everything he had and I was still here . He will truly be missed .

I really really don't understand. A friend of mine died when I was young. Public figures that I've admired have died, yet somehow, Chester's passing has devastated me. Someone that I've never met. I genuinely feel soooo sad that he died, and that he had to go through so much pain throughout his life

Almost 2 years since his death. I still cant get his voice out of my ears, his face out of my eyes, or his scream out of my head. We must never forget Chester, we need to remember his pain, his love, his music. If you know anyone struggling with mental health, please just text them, to let them know you're there and you love them. It goes a longer way than you will ever know
No one should have to take their own life mental health is real and people need help 😢 I’ve lost two friends because of this, this amazing guy took his own life and unfortunately no one could save him God rest your soul Chester ❤️
The real tragedy is, we could all hear and see what was going on with him. It was in his eyes, the way he smiled and laughed and in every lyric he sang. In some interviews he said stuff from which you immediatly knew he was depressed. And we couldn't do anything. His family knew about it, his friends/bandmates...and still, there was nothing anyone could've done. Chesters death is the only celebrity death that ever got me. I cried for hours and I couldn't listen to their songs until recently, without tearing up.
I love & miss you so much Chester! Life will never be the same without you! May you finally have the peace you have been searching for! Chester was such a great husband, father, performer, just a great human being! One of a kind, and we are all blessed to have heard the amazing voice of an angel 👼! I believe that he’s a piece now, god rest his awesome soul!!!! Chester we love and miss you!!!!!

This video was awesome. He was just an awesome guy! Its also the LP song that helped me through so much s**t. Its amazing how the voice of one man can mean so much to someone and it's only when they're gone that we truly appreciate it.
This album was so underrated. It was amazing. This song is one of my faves, and was constantly on repeat... the very last "Let it go" that Chester sings at the end of this song is so haunting. You can hear and feel him exhaling everything: the pain, suffering, the frustration... Just gives me the chills. Chester was so amazing. The whole band is, but there was just something magical about Chester. RIP beautiful soul.
I saw Chester with the Stone Temple Pilots at a small venue outside of St. Louis, to this day it was the best concert I ever attended. I called all my friends and asked them to come but none could, I assume it was my gift from God to be apart of a special persons life and the range that he had. It touched me profoundly and I will ever be great full for the chance to be apart of a man's life and joy. May God hold Chester and Chris in his heart as I will. Thanks for giving this old man a memory of elation.

Some wounds cannot be healed, cannot be covered over and can make you fall apart over and over again. Same here. I've had severe anxiety & depression for years. I LOVED LP since day one. Chester put into words all the feelings I couldn't say. Sometimes i feel i should go too as i've lost all my hope and ambitions & don't want to be a burden anymore. I'm really struggling lately and suspect my demons are going to win. Sometimes leaving looks like a better option. I'm so conflicted and torn between trying to fight one more time only to get knocked back down again or else just giving up and ending it. I've developed various medical conditions that stop me from doing most things but I lived a crazy life in my teens so at least i lived when i was younger. LP fans seem to understand all these dark feelings so Chester brought a lot of us together. I just wish he was around to see it. God bless you Chester. I pray you're at peace now 😪💔

And then, I want you to know that you are definitely not alone buddy! I know it may sound kind of cheesy and classic but.. I do know how hard it can be to keep your faith in everything and everyone and most importantly to keep believing in yourself.. The reason is simple, had my problems for years as well.. I seriously and sincerely hope that everything turns well for you in the future.. It is one kind of a hell to go through all the pain, and even more difficult if you are feeling alone. Whatever it is, what makes you think you are not strong enough to overcome the difficulties in your life - don't take them too serious.. Please.. When I was 9-10 I loved LIMKIN PARK then I when in to a pop music faze and stopped listening. I started going "emo" and listening to rock in 2017 and I forgot about LINKIN PARK untill about 2 months ago. I just wish I could go back in time and somehow call someone and tell the, to stay with him that day.
As a Mom of a 44 year old son as well as one of 36 my heart rips open. So sorry you were let down by your parents who were supposed to protect you.Rest in peace Chester your music will live on your legacy as well.

Depression is a monster. I have it bad right now I can’t stop thinking about Chester I lay awake at night thinking about him and just cry 😢. It’s been 2 years in July since his passing and I can’t come to terms with his passing yet. It’s hard depression is nothing to mess with if you ever need help please note there is a suicide hotline you can call for some help and I believe you can text them for help to. Don’t haste to ask for help. 😭💔

i still remember the day when i was informed chester was gone... i was extremely suicidal, (still am but hanging in there), and had been blasting linkin park with my headphones, alone yet again late at night, and the notification popped up from one of my closest friends, saying "im so sorry, he...he's gone". i sobbed for two weeks. barely moving or talking, or doing absolutely anything. chester saved my life, and although i never got to thank him in person, i swear i will still try to see these guys in concert and say thank you.

As someone who has battled depression for many years I can't help but wonder if a guy like Chester, who had a strong support group and unlimited resources to get the best help available, can't overcome his demons, what chance do I have, a nobody with no support group and no resources? Doesn't make sense to even try

rick fernandes I'm in the same place, same mindset. When every second of everyday you're battling the demons, those dark places in your mind. Hoping you can make it out cause Chester Bennington did, Chris Cornell did and now they're gone. And not many understand this. Plus we are mourning a tremendous loss. I get it and Chester battled so long, so long he remained strong but the dark part took him down. I guess we try and make it to the next moment, take it from there...

rick fernandes I don't really think it matter who u are or how much money u have it just comes to how strong the will to go on is. His inner deamonds took over and got a hold,no one could see this coming...he probably couldn't, it took a hold and the outcome was for him to end his life.
There is light at the end of the tunnel so don't give up....this is the worse that could happen but there are also many people who have come out of the other side of fighting depression and got stronger for it. Let go of what is holding u back and don't let it control u anymore! That's the first thing I can do to help yourself out of the deep hole your in ❤️

Since a kid, ive grown up listening to and loving Metallica but when i first heard LP, i was hooked...all the songs were inspiration for me at all times especially when i just needed to take timeout from lifes struggles and work on my camaros or freethink random inventions that i built as i went...im 35 now, still jammin their music and Chester's vocals will always carry on in my heart!!! I myself have severe panic disorder(anxiety attacks) along with depression, which has been quite a struggle but my strength in controlling it is my boy, the Lord and writing anything you feel inside down on paper then reading it at a later time has helped me tremendously! R.I.P. Chester.... :(
