I have a 2024 Gemini (same coach as this) and just took a 5000 mile vacation across the country in it. We love the couch and never once used the slide out, we bought a couple of tv trays for eating on which folded up and stashed behind the couch. We were constantly on the move and rarely stayed anywhere for more than a night so just didn't want to deal with the slide.
Really nice floor plan but would like to see theatre seating vs. jackknife sofa. Also 2 induction burners. Shower is tiny which I get but curtains just don’t work. Is the toilet porcelain? At this price point I would expect that for sure. I love the euro style cabinetry and look! It needs a stinky slinky. I’d definitely give this one some serious thought. Great job overall,Thor!
This coach would be perfect if it had theater seating instead of a tiny jack knife bed that’s only good for a toddler….so that being said this is a great coach for couples with no kids or grandkids and distant traveling it’s the perfect size
Super Job clear and exact thanks for sharing! So glad this is on a Transit chassis since they are twice as stable as the rolly polly Sprinter chassis. The Transit has a wider track, longer wheelbase and a lower slung chassis design which is why it rides so nice in wind and along side of trucks. Regards -Mike
Nice to not need the slide. Now do an update without the slide and ditch the couch, do facing single seats to free up length. Then you could add 3 inches to one of the beds and do a bigger shower. You would also add about 250 pounds of OCCC.
This new model is super nice. But I want a dinette rather than a couch. With a dinette you could use everything with the slide in. Also, having to set up and take down the table would be a pain. You do not need a couch when you have chairs that rotate . A removeable table could be added between the two chairs. Just my two cents worth. IMO with this change the 24KB would be perfect for me.
That makes no sense about freezing the AC. If my dog is in the unit, and it's 100 degrees outside, I do not want to set the temperature to 90 degrees. Please explain!
Hi Patty, thanks for watching. What we mean is to set the temperature inside the unit when it is cooler, like in the morning.....once the rv is cooled off, you can keep it at that temperature. We do not mean if it is 100 degrees outside, you can only keep your AC at 90. Where people have issues, they wait until the motorhome is already hot on the inside of the coach, such as 100 degrees, and set the thermostat to 70 because they want it cool. That will cause the AC to run constantly, causing the coils to literally freeze and the AC will not be able to run until that defrosts, which could take hours. Here is a link that will further explain how this works. ruclips.net/video/a1FunpAqhSc/видео.htmlsi=MQthPHjKbVEFi-ht&t=1609 Thanks for watching. Tom
finally, the twin bed model is back and it's on the transit chassis well done Thor! nice colours on the inside! I would like to see the city water and other connections in a bay with a locking door just makes it look cleaner outside but overall great job!
How come there is no bumper that can be used for the “stinky slinky”? How come no roof ladder? Can you get additional solar? The bathroom sink position makes sitting on the toilet a challenge. Is the toilet porcelain? The convection microwave should be above the counter not below. Overall looks like a nice RV.
Love my 2018 23TR, rear slide-out. What I don't like here includes the sofa (could be a bed) and the length (23 vs 26'). Do like the counter extension.
There is a lot to like about the 24KB (including small size and OCCC greater than a Sprinter, able to get to bath, beds and refrigerator with slide in, great outside storage, etc.), but be aware that besides the small shower, small bathroom sink and lack of bathroom countertop, the drawers under the wardrobe can’t be opened when the bathroom door to the bedroom is opened and latched, and the generator is underneath the rear axle making it extremely difficult to maintain. Also, a lot more RVs are starting to use tankless hot water heaters, but do these only run off propane and not have the option of an electric heating element? This all said, I’ll probably buy one of these because the many pluses outweigh the negatives.
It have been nice if Thor would have changed the side bathroom to a rear bath in the 24KB. That would give customers another floorplan option. Keeping the twin beds is fine. 2023 Thor Compass 24RB.
No, not there yet. I love the bed in the back with windows. But the bathroom is a deal breaker. Why? Needs to have a shower with a nautilus shower door. I would love to see front split kitchen with mid split bath and rear living with murphy. Just add a legun type table up front with swivel front seats.
I would have liked to see the cab in relation to interior, like from the seats and kitchen. You often were talking about an interior feature without showing it.
Hi Mary. There are locks on all the storage bay doors. Due to DOT regulations, the only bay that does not lock is the bay the propane tank is in. Thanks - Steve
Not really a NEW floorplan... It's pretty much a rehash of our 2015 Thor Citation Sprinter 24ST, only our Sprinter has more outside storage and a Mercedes Benz diesel engine. Compared to this "new" unit, the only thing I don't have in the Sprinter is all-wheel drive.
Love the AWD on these, but the ground clearance under the doorway, I'd rip the door off in the first 4 hours of ownership. I did a 6" lift +4WD on my Cambria so it's roughly 16 inches of ground clearance at the lowest point. This would be great in the snow and ice, not so much off road.
It looks like there might be a bunk in the top front, but it never showed the other half of the RV. 🤔 That big of an RV should sleep more than just 3 people. My parents had a camper half that size when I was a kid and it could easily sleep 3 adults and 2 kids. I wish they made smaller campers with more sleeping areas.

Nice RV, but you lost a sale once I found out the fuel tank only holds 25 gallons. I’m not stopping for fuel every 2-300 miles.

Looks like the display will need a drape.
Yeh but that will not make the generator accessible for maintenance.

Never start with tech and buttons, we want to see the layout

Cleaner isn’t practical.

Your cameraman is missing so much that your talking about. I would really like to see everything
Yes, I think he was too close most of the time. Nice & steady but did not cover a lot of items that I would have liked to see.
Try watching Matt's RV reviews, they are much better and to the point in my opinion.
He doesn't have a "cameraman" looks like he is using a tripod....but not positioning everywhere he need to.
@@davemacgyver573 I did, and did enjoy them. 😄
All RV sales people should be required to be trained by Matt. No one better!
More . . . YOU ~ ROCK ! !
Liked the presenter's style and voice!
Do you have the option of two recliners instead of the sofa in the slide out on the 24KB?
What kind of MPG does this get?
12-14mpg
Love my 2018 23TR, rear slide-out. What I don't like here includes the sofa (could be a bed) and the length (23 vs 26'). Do like the counter extension.
Thanks for the great review, the new floorplan is very nice!!
Is that a 12v Absorption fridge? You are so close! If it was a compressor fridge, it would make it close to top of the list. The search continues.
The floor plan is very similar to the Vegas 24.1 Class A my wife is impressed with. Maybe I can get her interested in this.
yep - twin to a KING! Yes!

Dinette would be so much better. Constantly fussing with that table is a huge hassle when your on the move

Really nice RV at the top of our list, but..........need a larger shower like the TE and don't like the dump valves being under the slide.
Where is the generator on the 24KB? In previous videos for the other models the generator was always pointed out.
I would have liked to see the cab in relation to interior, like from the seats and kitchen. You often were talking about an interior feature without showing it.
Now, if they would only put locks on the storage doors, I'd be sold.
Hi Mary. There are locks on all the storage bay doors. Due to DOT regulations, the only bay that does not lock is the bay the propane tank is in. Thanks - Steve
you didn't show over the cab. also i don't like the it that your water systems aren't locked/secured.
Awesome!
Thanks for watching. - Steve
Can the sofa jackknife with the slide in?
all nice, but.... 4G LTE in 2023? Common Winegard!

Guess you don't understand the difference between AWD & FWD. AWD is NOT intended for off-roading!
How much?
Why would Thor install a battery power only fridge in such a versatile coach. Why not a 3 way fridge????? Disappointed 😢
Hi, you do great reviews. can you tell me if the tv over the door articultes I think this is the one we will get but the tv is the weak point ??
Personal preference, I'd rather have the large rear bathroom and a jacknife couch that sleeps two.
Then you have to take down your bed every day! If you're staying more than one day, that's a pain.
also, the beds are way too short, need to have one at least 77", please.
I would NOT enjoy looking at the Kitchen when I'm on the sofa.....
Azdell ??
24 inches in a shower is just to small!
He doesn’t get on the bed cause they are very short. I love the twin beds but want 80” long.
Toppppp mano eu não sei se 🎉🎉🎉👍🏼🤔👋👋👏🍾🎂
Why no inside shot of the front? Looks like you're ashamed of the front layout. Seems mimimal!
Video intro has no sound
Richard

Price tag anyone.
Most people could not afford one if you won the lottery maybe!
It doesn't have an over the cab bunk. What good is a class C without an over cab bunk ? It defeats the entire purpose.
No counter space, a useless couch...?
With type of toilet these have would there ever be a need for a plunger ??
Why are you showing multiple cabinet doors? Your videos aren't the greatest.
I just want to see the coach, you talk too much
How much?
Checked their site, it says "starts at $148,500" but requires you to fill out a marketing form to get a real quote.
