Not once have I heard Ridge tell Taylor he loves her.
Ridge has no emotional intelligence. He blames Thorne and takes no responsibility for his actions.
I mean Thorne isn't blameless. The way he was speaking to Ridge, he knew he was getting a rise out of him. He could've just said "I was wrong about you and Taylor" and left it at that, but he knew what he was saying to get under Ridge's skin about Brooke.
But yes, Ridge should be accountable for his own actions

Because Season 9 is not available, I'm confused. When Taylor came back from Morocco, she went to court to confirm her marriage to Ridge was still valid. The judge ruled in her favor, but Ridge divorced her to be with Brooke. I assume during this time, Bridget's true paternity came out and somehow Brooke and Ridge's wedding got postponed. However, did they split up during this time? What broke them apart? Anyone know?

1997 isn't a good year for the Bold and the Beautiful in my opinion. We have the non-existent love triangle between Ridge, Thorne, and Taylor which was the opposite of titillating and the boring Grant shooting saga.
