I always wonder that too. When Brooke was back n forth between Nick and Ridge, it was Ridge’s children (specifically Thomas) who pushed Ridge to not give up and fight for Brooke because they felt he’d be happy with her. I wonder how things would have played out if Taylor stayed dead. I actually didn't expect her to return since it showed her body or at least we thought it was. I always wonder that too. When Brooke was back n forth between Nick and Ridge, it was Ridge’s children (specifically Thomas) who pushed Ridge to not give up and fight for Brooke because they felt he’d be happy with her.
