nostalgia for a game i never touched goes wild
Crazy
Pov its 1999-2000 and you are a USMC marine that was straight up got accepted into anoymous MARSCO group then sent on a mission to later never return
2003*
@@Sapphiregamer8605 nope, 2001. There was a reddit post that examined every possible piece of detail and nailed down the exact date. Ill see if i can find it and link it in my comment
edit: i found it very fast lol www.reddit.com/r/HalfLife/comments/hwoxla/i_have_found_the_exact_dates_of_every_single/
@@redisdead628-2.0it’s literally 2003
Edit: we were both wrong, see “slappycromwell’s” reply
Edit 2:
Again, it seems we won’t have a clear answer.
2009-2010 seems odd, 2003 doesn’t add up, and 2001 adds up even less.
Everything seems to cancel each other out
@@Sapphiregamer8605 the half life timeline is a shtshow honestly, with half life alyx introducing time travel it screwed it even more. Atp i think we should just stick to 200x for the HL1 era, and 202x for the HL2 era, since it makes the most sense. 2009-2010 would be pretty impossible considering the tech in the HL2 era reflects the early 2000s. I think the valve writers just didnt think about the years at first, and once they decided "oh wait, maybe we should" the timeline was already too far gone to make sense
Best OP4 edit I've seen so far. Sick work dude.
Thx
Broo my favorite character from half life just got the best edit
Exactly I was trying to find a op4 edit but none of them were my type of thing.
Ok good thing this showed up in my reccomended again, this was pretty good.
Thanks
The music and edit goes so hard fr fr! This is real hard work and well done!
Thank you
holy cow... This is honestly one of the best Adrain Shepard edits (or Half-Life edits in general).
Thank you
Agree
"I didn't sign on for this shit. Monsters, sure, but civilians? Who ordered this operation anyway?"
is such a depressing line and terrifying line at the same time. it shows that the soldiers didnt really want to kill and just wanted to go home to their families.
same thing with the scientists at 0:15
They just wanted to go home.
Some didn’t feel the same, as we can see with the HECU marine saying “I killed 12 scientists today and not one of them fought back, this sucks.”
And the marines trying to kill freeman, but as soon as you hear marines feel regret, you know the situation is messed up.
@@Sapphiregamer8605the “this sucks” line was supposed to be more regretful but it didn’t really sound like it
@@anthonylarson60 no, it’s not regret.
If it was, they would’ve been a little less harsh to the scientists
DAYUMMMM
Thank you bro
somehow this was made in cap cut I think?
Yes it was
