This was John Barry's last score and it was the greatest score in the franchise history.
Agreed! It’s the most mature and well developed score he did for the franchise. I wish he’d continued scoring Bond into the 90s so we could hear his lush later style in more Bond movies
While I too love Barry's final Bond score, in my opinion, Barry's OHMSS score remains the holy grail of the Bond scores.
Sadly. If only he would have continued. One can only wonder what Sir John Barry scored for " Goldeneye ".
@@ernestosalinas2497 I think the main title of Goldeneye is much more powerful.
Goldeneye does have a great soundtrack. I think it was the perfect evolution and is likely not all that far from what Barry would have scored. Tomorrow Never Dies has some nice moments that remind me of the truck chase at the beginning of The Living Daylights as well.
Now I wish Barry or anyone with respect for Bond was around to score the Craig films...they seem to hate 007 and try so hard to be sophisticated, all the while feeling soulless.
The best Timothy Dalton Bond and perhaps the best Bond ever!
A good actor but unfortunately not credibile as James Bond !
C'est fantastique. J'adore cette bande originale comme toute l 'oeuvre du GRAND John Barry. Merci beaucoup
Absolutely the best soundtrack of all Bonds
Thank you for making this. Such a fantastic score and perfect final Bond performance for the genius John Barry
I just realized that in the Exercise at Gibraltar track, there is a subtle callback to THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN
At which part of Exercise at Gibraltar?
