+Tahmid Bhuiyan I know. A rebirth could be possible, since we left Octavian 4 years before he became Augustus and his reign was very long : the actors would have aged naturally !
Actually he is supposed to have survived the creators confirmed it, I imagine Titus had said he had died so he would not get punished for choosing to be on Marc Anthony's side
See I feel this track embodies everything about Rome, from the first segment its humble origins as a city state, mid track it starts to get more slow paced and tense, like Romes golden era when things were Tranquil for the Pax Romana, then at 3:00 mark, things get more fast paced and dramatic, like the last few centuries of the empire-beset on all sides by civil strife and barbarian invasion/migration, yet the Romans fight on, until the end, where Rome fell not with a roar but a whimper. I love Jeff Beals music for this series
CIRIAN HINDS (Keizer of Rome) ACTS SUPERB !!!!!!!!!! I LOVE HIM !!!!!!!!! AS ACTOR !!!!!!!!!! Just listen tho the music !!!!!! AWESOME !!!!! HE CAN ACT !!!!! (known for = LOST TV SERIES)
Jeff No come on, Spartacus was good, if u just kept watching...just watch it! Rome is the favorite yes, but Spartacus is also rome but from the warrior's pov. I'm sure the show isn't very historically accurate just like Rome but it's still good and the story itself of Spartacus is amazing. It was just around 12 years before Julius Caesar...
What a shame not to have made the 5 seasons as intended. It could have been fucking legendary.
Blame Game of Thrones. HBO decided to cancel ROME for that.

@@hoplite723 don't.. don't give me hope
"Shame on the House of Ptolemy for such barbarity. Shame."
“But...you were enemies-“
*“HE WAS A CONSUL OF ROME!!!”*
@@dastemplar9681 but are u sure he real said that? I think it's just from movie and not true

"A Consul of Rome. To die in this sordid way, quartered like some low thief. Shame!"
3:01 is what it's all about. I still get goosebumps and it brings tears to my eyes. There will never be another show as powerful as this.
That was exactly what I came here for .Thank you!
Hikash You're very welcome!
"HE WAS A CONSUL OF ROME"
Great line
“To be butchered like a common thief. SHAME!”
"you are enemies ?"
Possibly my favourite track in the whole series. I don't know what ancient Roman music was like but this evoked Rome like almost nothing else.
HE WAS A CONSUL OF ROME!
Better than Game of Thrones tbh
Exactly.
The fact that they can make such a great show with real characters and events is truly far more impressive than some fictional story.
Tiny Roman I agree but I also love Game of Thrones, Rome is just better.
Sure, my friend !
Great i have to install Rome Total War again.
Every... single... time! :D
You dont have that game?
@MGTOW is a Good idea! Yes... also Attila is great too!!!
From 3:00 onwards it pretty much sums up the incredible epicness of Rome in a breathless 2 minutes.
"More worship the rising than the setting sun".~Pompey to Sulla
It was hard to see. I mean I was young and no expert in Roman civil war. Pompey was the rival for so many episodes. His death shocked me.
3:01 epic mode activated
3.01 ...absolute masterpiece!!!
Before Game of Thrones, there was Rome.
Wow that scene chocked me...I knew he was going to die...but not like this...he was betrayed and behedead in front of his family
Best theme in any HBO show ever.
Game of thrones: some king dies, nothing happens
Rome: a sister of some guy julius dies, whole known world gets conquered

I adore this series. Its epic :P
Nina Blokar I love sophie turner she's my favourite
from 2021, fresh memories
masterpiece:X:X:X
3:01 is the best part!
Good music great series... we spend billions on armies why not a few on a damn good show....
It's not the state that spends on shows lol
Because there are more important things than casual entertainment.
wish it was on Spotify
''Im sorry Sir...''
That death was shocking like he didn't even know it was coming and was slit by throat to blade
+Purnima Rani Dash Pompey's throat wasn't slit, he was decapitated.
Fabian is right. Also, this was what actually happened to Pompey, in real life. What a welcome, right?
@@magnoliasouth nope in real life he was drowned and the egyptians decapitated his corpse
For those who didn’t know, Pompey was assassinated by the Egyptians.
Also Pompeii died always looking 4 an opportunity 2 always fight back Even Caesar knew that

keizer? you mean emperor augustus or julius caesar?
Caesar vs Pompey was like Romulus and Remus all over again. 3:00 was a point in history with turning back.
1:36
The Theme of Gnaeus Pompey Magnus
He was a counsel of ROME
so much better than this stupid spartacus bullshit. But I respect Andy Whitfield. He was a great actor.
Spartacus was a joke. I couldn't get through the second episode.

even historically inaccurate spartacus was sublime. But rome is legend
Konur Metehan Durmaz , it wasn't meant to be totally accurate regarding history.
from 2:40 its just so good bruh...
