I live in Nashville but I don't know of a First Savings Bank and I just googled.
It's called credit utilization. Forces the credit company's to recalculate the interest charges daily. Pay simple interest with a line of credit rather than front ended amortized interest. Bingo!😅
I plan to payoff my mortgage and try to avoid heloc 😮
Please watch more videos. A mortgage is front loaded so you are paying most of your monthly payment is the interest, look at your closing documents for the TIP - Total Interest Percentage THAT amount is the actual interest you are paying over the term of the loan, using your Equity in a Line of Credit is the smarter way to go

How do you contribute to your savings/emergency fund and retirement & investment accounts if you paychecks are direct deposited to repay a HELOC?
The deposits are made to a checking account with a daily sweep. You can use a debit card and checks like a normal checking account.
The sweep goes into and out of the 1st lien heloc.
Only have Mortgage of $91000, car loan of $26000, and Heloc of $12000. Should I max out my Heloc by paying off my car loan, giving me $590 of cash flow

I have a first position HELOC with Summit Federal Credit Union. They are based in Rochester, with branches in Buffalo
Question: Can a bank that approves a HELOC ever renig and close or reduce the limit or mess with it?
Also, in the case of a major banking and/or economic collapse, can they tamper with it and leave people financially stranded?
Its a contract so its hard for them to 'mess around' with it, as long as you are following the terms everything should be fine. Find out Everything before signing - fees, if you can deposit into the account from a checking or direct deposit. While there has been mention of a crash in the future (which always happens) learning the velocity PROCESS will help us all in any situation
yes they can and they have multiple reasons why they can do it and it will all be in your paperwork. one of the reasons they have in there is if the property goes down in value. at the end of the day the bank is always going to protect themselves from taking a loss.
