I love GBVSR, it's a shame that even with crossplay and free version it's so hard to find ranked matches but I still agree with everything mentioned in the video and let's hope 2025 is a great year for the game
I think i will stick to Versus till Rising actually become dirt cheap or actually free since out of the base roster i only play Narmaya while some of the other character i do enjoy playing are all DLC in Rising like Versusia
Best rendition of 2B for a collab yet. I've seen too many realistic 3D models, ASW's similutated-2D cell shading onto 3D models is perfect and unique for the space.

Versus was never worth it until they made an edition where all the Dlc characters were available without that the characters were straight bland and reach for characters is stubby.
@WARLORD626 this is Rising though where even the base roster characters got changed to be a bit more involved, too. The combo routes are very interesting compared to vanilla imo.

Honestly, what more could you ask for? I don't think people understand that you functionally aren't cut off of anything in the free version. As a Gran player sky is the limits!
the game is very funny, i really like it. The game should have more players is one of the best fighting games of these years, is very friendly with players and even with your wallet. XD I hope a xbox and switch version soon to get more players.
If you can get past the fact that the devs can sometimes make idiotic balance decisions for the dumbest reasons known to man, its a fun game. Unfortunately, I, and some others sure as hell got turned off by the last major balance patch. Especially cos of the meme (tbh, deserved). I'll keep an eye out for the next one tho
I think games are meant to be played as many people as you can. Not every fighting game has to be the hardest thing you've ever played. Smash bros understands this philosophy.
@@ZettaSlowBoth Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 I wouldn't call them "easy" and yet they have four times as many users. Rising is like a paper, rock scissors without the latter. The game was boring to watch at patch 1.00 (I personally stopped following tournaments, they had to apologize after the beta feedback and release the game a month late, to bring the game back playable in a manner of speaking given how cancerous Nier was in the early months), and compared to other games like UNI2, KOF there is not much execution. Gran Bruise does not have people in EU or USA, the only way to play it is online, there are achievement and battle pass mission that require you to play this mode. The game is meager in terms of single player, it doesn't even have local CO-OP in story mode presents in basic GBVS. In trying to create the game for everyone it came out for no one. And it is still missing basic mechanics removed for no reason from the previous version. Version 1.50 is much better than in the release state, but we are not there yet.
But it's not free. None of the characters that most of the people who would appeal to the average newbie are free. And also rotating characters just..isn't an enticing player model.
@Essu_ it is free. You dont pay a cent. Gran is literally right there, and they usually have Belial and most popular picks in rotation. I think it is an enticing model for starting out, and the game goes on sale regularly for when you want to take that next step.
@ZachStarAttack Sike! They said the game won't be fully complete until next year, lol And the roster is missing characters from rivals 1 and Story mode. Although I will say I have been playing it so give it a nomination!
