  • Trout Fishing and Camping season are a great combination. I got a chance to head out to the Northern Laurel Highlands Mountains with my wife, and do some camping and fly fishing. I utilized the George Daniel Euronymphing set-up and successfully fished it with dry dropper, streamer, nymphs and floating the sighter. It worked on some big brown trout and a solid tailwater rainbow trout as well as alot of other trout.

Cool trip! Love the different streams, that was a bruiser brown and a feisty bow from that tailwater!

I use 6 pound suffix superior “orange” as main line/leader since it’s so visible, i blood knot 5-6 ft of 5x tippet to it onto fly. Super simple and only one knot

Cool...that's a great idea. I saw some suffix at Public Lands but didn't buy it. I might try some of that next. Simple is best!! Thanks for watching! Tightlines!

Craig, another great adventure and video....very nice brown....love George....I use his euro leader formula on my non-euro setup when switching between methods on my DTWF...is that a poison distribution or a weibul intensity :) ...did some reliability engineering on the M1 tank :)

You sound like you got a good engineering mind!! Thanks for watching! We need some more rain. I'm out on another adventure with low water flow. Will see if the rain tomorrow helps. Tightlines!!
