Why no coolant is used during the milling at the end of the video?

Basically a Japanese HAAS. Mori, Makino, Maatsura, Okuma all better machines.

U never operated a Mazak, right? Okuma is the only one what can compare with a Mazak in precision and quality.

@@renetr6771 Wrong. I use an E670H Integrex. It’s a pile of shit compared to the MORI Seiki NT I also have in my section.

@@metalchomper I also operated Mori Seiki's and i can't understand how you can compare those 2 manufacturers and think, that would be the better one.
      What let u think so?

@@renetr6771 20 years of experience, and understanding maintenance of the machines. The Integrex E670H weighs the same as the MORI Seiki NT5400 despite being almost twice the size. The gantry in the NT5400 takes up almost the entire machine in the back and is fixed. The gantry holding the turret in the Integrex moves freely along the 2 slides using direct drive motors. The Integrex is a piece of shit compared to the MORI. The Milling spindle is also far more rigid. The Mazak is a loud machine when being used due to lack of rigidity when milling. The MORI has a low deep growl. You know nothing about these machines and clearly haven’t used both if you don’t know the difference. You just don’t want to look like you’re wrong when you are.

@@metalchomperIm sure u accidently inverted the brands in your description. I never saw an integrex with a direct drive motor (maybe they changed this in the last years).
DMG Mori uses this on the z axis for almost every machine (starting on the cheap Sprint65). We bought Mazak, depending on our bad experiences with DMG Mori before. What you describe on the mill head is exactly the reason, why we not choose Mori anymore. While the Mazaks do a soft and strong millingoperation, Mori was vibrating and shuttering even on smaller cuts. Also we had a reccuring problem with the bearings of the main spindle wearing out in short time, when doing deep cuts the most time - and thats something, i hear from many sites, till today.
But, i have to be honest. I never operated such huge machines. I can only talk about sizes up to i-350 and NTX2000 (maybe it was a 2500, don't know it exactly anymore).
Maybe, on the big sizes, Mori was able to produce better machines - but u are the first person i heard saying this.
