I came to the USA when I was 12 years old in the late 80’s and I have never met an AfroSalvadoran, I’m so happy that we have African in El Salvador 🇸🇻 I went to school with African American and so beautiful listening to them talking with Salvadoran accent!! as I’m used to the English or Caribbean accent when talking to an African decedent! 🎊 🎉
I have cousins from San Miguel who are afro descendants, their mom was born in El Salvador but her family is from Honduras. My mom also says that her grandpa looked like he had african in him due to his skin tone and hair.
Beautiful content 👌🏼 I’m considered a “chele” Salvadoran which is basically a white Salvadoran. I grew up seeing different shades in my family and it’s true they discriminate against darker skinned family members. I have always been referred to as the cute kid because of my skin color.
I don't care if she is 17 or 16. That girl is pretty with curly hair. I miss my curly hair. Wearing a hat at a job for one year in early 20s is what caused me to lose hair. Now it's just short. It's true not many black Salvatorians. I have seen white Salvadorians.

I have had many friends from El Salvador and they always say that there is no black people or black descendants in their country, one of the reason they say, is that they are on the Pacific coast, well in South América there are 3 countries on the Pacific with large black population , Perú, Ecuador, Bolivia . The fact is that anywhere the spanish people went during the colony period, they Carried black slaves. Winds of changes are on their way to El Salvador along with the social transformation we see happening there. My family’s origin is from atiquizaya. My grandma had curly hair. However, her skin tone was in the lighter side and her eyes were light brown. I doubt she had African blood on her.
Generally, a mestizo Central American, even Mexican, will have African ancestry….it’s known as the third root. African legacy can be seen in food (plantain, rice and beans, coconut, etc) and music (especially marimba)

@@vivianballestero7615 Bolivia African population is 3% or so very low. El Salvador is easily one of the most homogenous countries in Latin American align with Paraguay. El Salvador is like 90 % mestizo and only 10 % white European. The African descendants are small community but lots of Hondurans have migrated there so the bLack population will likely increased but will never be close to Honduras, Nicaragua or Costa Rica

Good job bro. Help this people.
My family’s origin is from atiquizaya. My grandma had curly hair. However, her skin tone was in the lighter side and her eyes were light brown. I doubt she had African blood on her.
Thanks for sharing El Salvador
Generally, a mestizo Central American, even Mexican, will have African ancestry….it’s known as the third root. African legacy can be seen in food (plantain, rice and beans, coconut, etc) and music (especially marimba)
El Salvador ethnically, 0.16% are black, 86.3% of Salvadorans are mixed (mixed Native Salvadoran and European (mostly Spanish) origin). Another 12.7% is of pure European descent, 1% are of pure indigenous descent, and others are 0.64%.
Most likely she had indigenous roots.
Why are you guyS trying to start shit in El Salvador, keep your racism crap in the USA we all live here in racial harmony we don’t care about skin color, racism is a USA crap, quit trying to do the same thing you guys do in the USA, if you feel discriminated in your country that’s your problem, don’t bring your crap to El Salvador we are a loving society keep your hate in the USA. VIVA EL SALVADOR 🇸🇻

A la familia completa me da mucho gusto que se sientan orgullosos de quienes son, ser afro salvadoreños para ustedes debe ser un orgullo y una tarea encontrar la forma de contar su historia he inculcar a otros a encontrar su pasado que no debe ser motivo de pena o descriminación, saludos a la joven Daniela estoy seguro que seras una persona muy importante en la comunidad afro de El Salvador, i love the content of this chanel keep it up bro
