Pastor Boyd on point as usual. I thank God for having his hand on Pastor Boyd. It’s God’s work through Pastor Boyd that brought me back to the Church body. I was a PK that became an atheist. Walked down that road for a while. I had to deconstruct my faith and Pastor Boyd’s work was critical in my return. Praise God!
I appreciate this sermon so much! My girlfriend, Stacy, actually introduced me to Woodland Hills and Dr. Boyd, and I feel very blessed that she did so. I'm an ELCA Lutheran, attending Luther Theological Seminary, and I've come to believe in universal reconciliation in the past couple of years. Colossians 1:19-20 is perhaps my favorite passage in scripture, and I found myself thinking after the George Floyd murder, "Ok... if what I believe is true, that God has already reconciled everyone through Christ, then that means Chauvin is, too." But, I've struggled in articulating that thought, so I sincerely, sincerely appreciate this sermon. Thank you.
I’m so glad to have introduced you, and that this sermon really impacted you! It was very powerful for me as well. I love the way Dr. Boyd and the other teaching pastors are able to articulate the meaning of Scripture, and bring Truth to light in a way that resonates with my spirit. I’m so thankful to have found WH, as it has been such a blessing over the years. I have learned so much, have been freed of various beliefs I once held to be true in light of new information, and can’t thank them enough for helping me on this journey of becoming more like Jesus!
