I used a budget one-tap slug no one knows about to try and complete Setup on Customs. The results were... unexpected :D

I've been following Fair for years. Love his content. Great editing, great storytelling, funny, sad, the highs, the lows. I often find myself telling friends of mine about my raids in a similar fashion. Tarkov is very much a story engine, and Fair is so good at leveraging it.

In it's current state EFT requires a loose attitude with an imaginative playstyle. Because of bugs, cheaters etc. it is important to approach the game in a specific way. I watch Desmond and Stankrat who are about as opposite of a player as you can find but I doubt anybody either of them enjoy the game as much as Fair and the content speaks for itself. I know videos are edited but the live streams are banger as well. This man does not miss when it comes to content creation in the EFT space. Great vid as always XD

I knew it was my favorite slug as soon as I saw the name of the video, absolutely fell in love with these making my own Suppressed Slug Sniper Shotgun! Besides what other ammo would Mr. FTX himself use!!? Amazing video as always my guy, the music was a great tension builder.

Guessed FTX when you said an underrated Slug round, it is one of the best.
when you killed a guy in big red at 17:28 and said "where'd you come from", you saw him run behind a blue shipping container into big red at 17:10. I saw him and you didn't say anything I thought you were gunna get killed by him, good kill.

That one gun fight you heard at customs was crazy af btw that mask i believe is a light keep mask , the black one you found on the duo
FTX that... that actually makes sense. Best combination of recoil and accuracy, with enough pen to one-shot through class 2. .50 BMG does better against class 3 (more relevant since the buff to some soft armor) but has considerably worse recoil. FTX is an interesting choice that I might try, even if just for fun.
I think it makes sense considering how good fair's aim is when it comes to tapping heads (we've seen those flick shots focused on one tapping). The bonus for recoil and accuracy work wonders to benefit his accuracy based playstyle.
At first glance express buckshot immediately came to mind as one of the most "under-rated" 12ga ammo but it didn't make sense because the build had a 3x scope on it which suggests slugs and the ranged shots he was taking pretty much confirms it. Considering his playstyle it's highly likely he was using slugs but I just didn't know which one!
I like shotguns, I use a 153 with FTX for every map except streets and factory. I use a Saiga with piranha/magnum stacks for those maps.

I had so much fun at customs doing this quest. With ability to use headset and usec blue jacket I really created this 'scav' image, with blue cuirass armor (4 lvl plates in instead of lvl 3 by default).
Actually impossible to distinguish, especially for new players)
Im gona try this. Ive been getting pones when i run this load out.
I use a spot in dorms for setup and I feel dirty using it but it works for me. I use magnum buckshot for legs and .50bmg for heads. Both work a charm.

FTX slugs are great for head tapping with shotguns, if you’re going to go for limbs with a slug, use SuperPerformance slugs, they are crazy for legs
But I’m just stating the obvious lol.

I really thought it would be .50 BMG, since I got one tapped by it on factory wearing a level 4 helmet. It deals enough blunt damage to one-shot to the head even if it doesn't pen. Most of the impressive kills here are probably either neck or face shots, since FTX can't pen level 3. I think slugs with high damage just do crazy blunt damage in general, so in theory SuperFormance, Grizzly, RIP, and Copper Sabot should perform as well as FTX and .50 BMG against helmets. The only difference is that FTX has 20 pen, so it can go through level 2 armor like the neck aramid on Russian armor. It also has a slight chance to pen level 3, so maybe FTX is the best budget slug. Of course, you should just be using Piranha anyway.

Well damn... you found it... I've been using that ammo for a long time. And guess what... a lot of the ammo that adds accuracy is very good. Remember, there is an RNG element to every shot you make. Ammo that improves your numbers makes a differences sometimes more then the damage numbers mostly everyone else is chasing.

I remember when i did my first SBiH Kill last Wipe on Shoreline. With an Benelli M3 watching the Pier and hit a FTX over 150m into an enemys eyes :D

Slugs were extremely incosistent for me. Did full ergo shotgun build with express buckshot which reduces recoil. I could dump all 8 shots with high accuracy. You could say i kinda enjoyed setup even though i seriously hate shotguns in this game.
