    If it weren’t for tight jobs… you’d have no jobs at all!
    I thought I’d dug in some tight spaces… but, I’ve never had to pack my spoils pile to make room for more spoils. Never had to duck under razor wire to get into a worksite… the last time I ducked under it, I was on my belly and a Drill Sargent was standing beside me with his boot ready to kick any body part that popped up!
    Ed, that’s a nicer-nice trailer!!!
    Great to see you guys, have a wonderful weekend.

      Yeah we seem to have to pack our spoils when we take it out of the trench and when we put it back in! LOL we have to make room somehow.
      Great to hear from you William. My dad has told me stories about the military and I can only say I would much rather have to deal with the work we do then having a drill sergeant stand over me and yell! LOL
      Thanks for watching buddy👍🏻

    When designing these sites they should ask you on how to layout all the conduit for immediate use and lay extra conduit for future growth.

      I agree with you gene, but with so many carriers going in and out of business. We are constantly taking as much pipe out as we are putting in for new carriers. They all own what we put in for them and they have to take it out when they stop paying their lease.

    Well done to both teams, tight equals twice as long to finish but if you quote right jobs a goodun as I always say and on to the next

      We have gotten pretty good at working in these tight areas and it keeps us with plenty of work to do.

      You can always be more productive if you have a game plan. Sometimes the plan changes as you go but you just have to roll with it. I always like to lay things out before we start and it seems to work out best in the end.
      Thanks for watching Brad. Hope all is well 👍🏻

      Aye, it has been the same over here, been running on empty for the past two to three weeks now..... not much fun carrying a bag of post in this heat !!!
      Supposed to be cooler this week for me, with a chance of rain.... forgotten what that is like !!!

    I'm trying to decide on buying a Bobcat or a Cat. I like the JCB but we don't have a Good JCB dealer in Central California.

    • @fulltiltgrading8366
      @fulltiltgrading8366  3 года назад

      I would try each of them. They’re both good machines. The bobcats are considerably cheaper compared to the cat but I say go with whatever one feels better to you. I really don’t know anything about the JCB.

    What F'd up control system would have the dipper control where the bucket belongs ? I've never seen or heard of a control pattern with the bucket anywhere but the right hand lever side-to-side. What wacky pattern puts the dipper there ?? ISO/JD have the dipper on the right, but thats forward/back not side/side so would seem hard to get that mixed up with the bucket.

    • @fulltiltgrading8366

      That machine has John Deere controls and Brandon just miss spoke about what he did. If you run cat or deer you know that it is opposite for the boom and dipper so he just moved the wrong one at the wrong time. It can be very frustrating.

    • @nerdgarage
      @nerdgarage 3 года назад +1

      @@fulltiltgrading8366 Ok, that makes perfect sense. And yes, I can imagine getting into a machine with the unexpected different controls would be rather disconcerting.

    Whats with the long off-site power run ? Isn't there power on-site ??

      For some reason they keep putting these dish seats on towers that don’t have any more room in the meter can or they don’t have a large enough service to add another carrier. On every one of these jobs we have been digging to either a pole or a transformer to get power. I don’t really get it but this is a brand new project so it is going to have a lot of growing pains.
      Thanks for watching👍🏻
