I've just looked it up, my parents came from Liverpool, but they never told me about Hartley Village. They should renovate the old factory buildings , and have a museum, shop's a restaurant etc in these spaces . I live near Port Sunlight, Hartley's Village could be preserved in the same way . I'm going to do some more research, you have launched me on a voyage of discovery with your jam pot . This is history on my doorstep, l didn't know about.
