Nearly perfect...except for the expression on Luke's face...none..and it's a mistake too many companies are doing on great pieces....eyes dead, face dead.
It's cool, but surprised how clunky the cape fit over the shoulders, like I can see that scratching the arms

Hahahaha! You got an email? I will have to start sending you pictures of these coincidences. I just printed this. I just printed with the hood on and an extended light sabre. It is "mirrored". In other words the Grogu and sabre are in opposite hands. Likely a means for the file creator to get away with "fan art". Lol! Hey... it's "custom". ROTFLMAO!
The light feature is great, but I wouldn’t want to pay a premium for it with grogu there. Good statue, but a pass for me.

I just really hope that Disney sells the Star Wars IP, because they’re incapable of making anything good, they’ve actually did the opposite and destroyed the franchise.
But this statue looks pretty cool, I’m a huge R2D2 fan, he looks great here.

@@clon76 What are you talking about? Disney pulled all the movies they had planned because it’s been a total flop. They completely destroyed the franchise.
@@sbb3337 Maybe one of the other big movie companies, like Universal? They wouldn’t get what they payed for it though since they’ve pretty much destroyed the franchise.
In order to really appreciate the look and value of this piece you really need to be a diehard Mandalorian fan. There are way better sculpts of Luke Skywalker from the original trilogy that represents his character in a more memorable way. This sculpt of Luke with R2D2 holding baby Yoda looks great but it would be appreciated more by a Mandalorian fan. The price is kind of high but it does have a light up and sound effect features. For those who will buy it because they truly love it, the force is strong with them and that is the way. Yes I said it.
Awesome review! I picked this up as well your cloak sits a bit lower than mine. Not a huge issue i guess but noticed the difference in it enough where i tried to take it apart again and see why mine is resting higher. Thank you for sharing this review!
First and second season were great, haven't started the third yet. I'd totally watch a show with that look
I don’t know what the other Luke Skywalker statue looks like but I think this one is good.
I like the baby Yoda
I'm not a big fan of Star wars, but this representation, with 3 characters, seems great to me.
His expression is like: "I am not Santa!"
Btw, it is the black suit force the camera to try to correct the exposure and hue.
Using a light background or zoom all the way at his face or zoom out to include more background will help balancing it.
One shall not devote only to darkside.

Mr X, for $1300 I think that's a great price. I had to piece together my own Luke & R@ statue. I forget who the manufacturer of Luke is but he's standing with one foot in front of the other with his lightsaber ready in his hands, I had to buy a doll's cloak but it fits really well and the hood is big enough to drape over part of his face, then I found an R2 toy that was in scale with the statue, they still look good together. Great video.
I like it but I would definitely not pay $1300 for this just not my thing
Nice piece but will have to pass. I feel not being able to see his lightsaber in a miss opportunity, also I think XM one likeness is better.
The workmanship is great but it looks like they are posing for an old time family photo.

Not the biggest SW fan, But I did enjoy this series.
Great looking piece. Iron Studio's tend to be more on point when it comes to Star Wars, compared to say Sideshow Collectibles. Personally i never wanted to get into Star Wars statues (i do own some Star Wars 1/6 figures). Fact is, i do own 2x Star Wars 1/4 statues, they include Sideshow - Mandalorian (which also features a floating Gogu) and Ahsoka, which both look great (Ahoka's blue paint on the head sculpt could have been better).
Oh wow the light up and sound is brilliant, one of my favourite light ups, looks brilliant, really brings R2 to life.

That is a nicely done quarter scale! The museum pose they chose was a good choice.
I have this piece and love it, I had issues with R2 not lighting up correctly so I had to send it back to get a replacement. on both statues, I had/have R2 wobbles, the replacement is not as bad as the first one. I had to put something under the foot to help support him. I did not want to stress the microphone connection for the lights. Other than that this is a great piece. do you notice your R2 not sitting correctly?

That outfit is wild Mr. X, I hope you had a great time at your game. As for this statue, it is really nice. I love the sculpted cloak, plus that base is so fitting without eating up a lot of space. I think this is the first time I've seen a statue of Luke in this outfit and I love that. I could easily see this statue as a cool standalone in someone collection. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

By itself this is quite iconic; a good balance of the OG Luke and R2D2 and baby Yoda which should please almost everybody. But I really like the R2D2 sounds and lightup; it's not cheap and annoying like the Hasbro stuff for example. Not saying Luke should be blonde or anything, but IS made the 1/10 Emma Frost and the 1/10 Elsie Dee/Albert(which I don't have) non-blonde into sandy/auburn which is annoying.

Grogu looks a absolute zooted lol, he looks like he's been found by Luke after eating all of his space weed brownies. That kid is in a galaxy far far away right now.
Looks pretty cool but the price is terrible not so long ago i got the new Guts from P1 and its 3x times that big the sculp and paint is much better and it cost 1450 usd

The cloak looks great l, but makes me appreciate the cloak from the Palpatine custom that came out recently that much more….

If you are any kind of Mandalorian fan, this statue is perfect. The only thing missing is Mando. A lot of Star War's fan are going to love this Diorama. The only thing I would change, is maybe have the cape a little wider, so you can see the hand with Luke Lightsaber a little more.

Iron Studios has really stepped up their game. The Harley that you reviewed recently and this piece put them in a higher category for me. I mostly have their 1/10 scale stuff, which I really like(for 1/10th), but this is making me look at them for bigger pieces. Also, the original trilogy IS the best Star Wars. Period. Some of the other stuff is good, and some just plain sucks.
