Mr X, for $1300 I think that's a great price. I had to piece together my own Luke & R@ statue. I forget who the manufacturer of Luke is but he's standing with one foot in front of the other with his lightsaber ready in his hands, I had to buy a doll's cloak but it fits really well and the hood is big enough to drape over part of his face, then I found an R2 toy that was in scale with the statue, they still look good together. Great video.
In order to really appreciate the look and value of this piece you really need to be a diehard Mandalorian fan. There are way better sculpts of Luke Skywalker from the original trilogy that represents his character in a more memorable way. This sculpt of Luke with R2D2 holding baby Yoda looks great but it would be appreciated more by a Mandalorian fan. The price is kind of high but it does have a light up and sound effect features. For those who will buy it because they truly love it, the force is strong with them and that is the way. Yes I said it.
That outfit is wild Mr. X, I hope you had a great time at your game. As for this statue, it is really nice. I love the sculpted cloak, plus that base is so fitting without eating up a lot of space. Awesome review! I picked this up as well your cloak sits a bit lower than mine. Not a huge issue i guess but noticed the difference in it enough where i tried to take it apart again and see why mine is resting higher. Thank you for sharing this review!
I just really hope that Disney sells the Star Wars IP, because they’re incapable of making anything good, they’ve actually did the opposite and destroyed the franchise. But this statue looks pretty cool, I’m a huge R2D2 fan, he looks great here.

I had to put something under the foot to help support him. I did not want to stress the microphone connection for the lights. Other than that this is a great piece. do you notice your R2 not sitting correctly?
Great looking piece. Iron Studio's tend to be more on point when it comes to Star Wars, compared to say Sideshow Collectibles. Personally i never wanted to get into Star Wars statues (i do own some Star Wars 1/6 figures). Fact is, i do own 2x Star Wars 1/4 statues, they include Sideshow - Mandalorian (which also features a floating Gogu) and Ahsoka, which both look great (Ahoka's blue paint on the head sculpt could have been better).
If you are any kind of Mandalorian fan, this statue is perfect. The only thing missing is Mando. A lot of Star War's fan are going to love this Diorama. The only thing I would change, is maybe have the cape a little wider, so you can see the hand with Luke Lightsaber a little more.

But I really like the R2D2 sounds and lightup; it's not cheap and annoying like the Hasbro stuff for example. Not saying Luke should be blonde or anything, but IS made the 1/10 Emma Frost and the 1/10 Elsie Dee/Albert(which I don't have) non-blonde into sandy/auburn which is annoying.
