My pastor said in the 90s that this would happen. That we would be prosecuted or jailed for not serving homosexuals. I stopped going to church because they were allowing LGBTQ to perform services. Nope, not for me. I will serve the Lord in my own home and pray for our family. This persecution WILL GET WORSE.
why don't you go to a different church? The word tells us not to neglect gathering together as believers. Not every church has caved to the culture. We are a body of believers, there are no 'lone wolf' Christians.

In the 60s personal freedom was taken away from business owners by forcing them to accommodate anyone who darkened their door. There were people who warned of sliding down a slippery slope. They were scoffed at.
This is why the mildest capitulation by a church to the culture, even if touted as “niceness,” should be the alarm signal to flee that church, whether an individual congregation or a denomination. It WILL NOT get better there, but incrementally worse.
The belief in God is getting less and less and the church has diluted the fear of God. How can new believers know the Lord, if the priests and pastors also do not know the Lord themselves? It would be the blind leading the blind. Who can we rely on to strengthen our faith? God helps us to be true to Him. May we be found faithful when He comes.
Any behavior not approved of by some religious group is considered sin by that group. Otherwise, it is considered legal or illegal, moral or immoral, ethical or unethical by the rest of us.
Christians should learn to pray over their businesses. In this instance, you can pray that nobody with a contrary spirit should visit your business or patronise you so as not to cause you any trouble. Let the fire of God surround your business and ward off any evil spirits and untoward occurrences.
Sin is not confronted in many, if not most, churches. If this would be done biblically I believe there would be more faithful and bold believers. Ones not afraid to face persecution when it comes. Standing their ground and not willing to compromise.

2:23 Come on believers we are charged with bringing the gospel to unbelievers and showing them the love of God. Allowing them to stay, praying over them, singing hymns around them, might’ve been a way, to show them an unexpected love and compassion they never had from Christians. Not sure where you're going with that. But we do minister to the unbelievers, we don't put them in leadership in the church or bend the Gospel to make sin more comfortable. That only blocks their salvation, as you can't repent and receive forgiveness when you believe you've done nothing wrong.
So… forcing people to accept sin is ok? Please continue to read your Bible and pray for understanding of what sin is and how to deal with it. Accepting it…even in ourselves is compromise and wrong.

Even as a Christian who understands some lifestyles are sinful, I have to say but the law got it right. When you have an establishment open to the public you cannot discriminate. What if the B&B was run by a gay couple and they said when you arrived “no Christians”, it has to work both ways. The same laws that protect Christians protect everyone else. And what if one of these gay men came away from the stay and seeing how gracious and kind the Christians were towards them accepted Christ? I love Voodee but he is wrong here. Don’t have a public business in your home if you don’t want sinners to stay there.

My pastor said in the 90s that this would happen. That we would be prosecuted or jailed for not serving homosexuals. I stopped going to church because they were allowing LGBTQ to perform services. Nope, not for me. I will serve the Lord in my own home and pray for our family. This persecution WILL GET WORSE.

In the 60s personal freedom was taken away from business owners by forcing them to accommodate anyone who darkened their door. There were people who warned of sliding down a slippery slope. They were scoffed at.
Where was that? I was in my 20s in the 1960s. I never heard what you say.
This is why the mildest capitulation by a church to the culture, even if touted as “niceness,” should be the alarm signal to flee that church, whether an individual congregation or a denomination. It WILL NOT get better there, but incrementally worse.

The belief in God is getting less and less and the church has diluted the fear of God. How can new believers know the Lord, if the priests and pastors also do not know the Lord themselves? It would be the blind leading the blind. Who can we rely on to strengthen our faith?

Allowing them to stay, praying over them, singing hymns around them, might’ve been a way, to show them an unexpected love and compassion they never had from Christians. God doesn’t divide us up by our category of sins, but we as humans do! We are all sinners. I think the Molnars turned what could’ve been an opportunity into a nightmare honestly. With that said, I will continue watching.
Not sure where you're going with that. But we do minister to the unbelievers, we don't put them in leadership in the church or bend the Gospel to make sin more comfortable. That only blocks their salvation, as you can't repent and receive forgiveness when you believe you've done nothing wrong.
So… forcing people to accept sin is ok? Please continue to read your Bible and pray for understanding of what sin is and how to deal with it. Accepting it…even in ourselves is compromise and wrong.

That bed and breakfast was most likely targeted just like the baker. There was plenty of bakeries willing to back that couple a cake to their liking. They targeted that baker and that was most likely the case here.

@@stevepierce6467 i’m not sure what your question exactly means all I know is that I’m a center like everybody else, but I would never deny anybody housing simply based upon their sin. However, I do not condone it, but I wouldn’t reject a place to sleep. But honestly, I don’t really care about these arguments. It doesn’t matter to me. Jesus is coming to take his bride soon if you care less at this point.

I spoke to clerk of session about a bb leader who is on his 3rd marriage and he said they dont even come to public worship....but now they do so i guess that makes the adultery ok , between that and eco stuff and helping illegal muslim settle in the community ...im on the verge of giving up

Even as a Christian who understands some lifestyles are sinful, I have to say but the law got it right. When you have an establishment open to the public you cannot discriminate. What if the B&B was run by a gay couple and they said when you arrived “no Christians”, it has to work both ways. The same laws that protect Christians protect everyone else. And what if one of these gay men came away from the stay and seeing how gracious and kind the Christians were towards them accepted Christ? I love Voodee but he is wrong here. Don’t have a public business in your home if you don’t want sinners to stay there.
My mother n law said 25 years ago the Episcopal church will just have to change their bi-laws to accommodate the gay agenda she was a member of a very small episcopal church in NC
