    Got my first 1gallon in red to match my Milwaukee hand tools on the job site !
    Your lifestyle has to demand a full gallon. To me it seemed the most logical cause I only use it for water.
    A lot of time can be spent scrambling to get water, so have a 1 gallon reserve is really helpful I can leave it in the truck over night with ice and it’ll be ice cold the next day.
    I almost wish they made a 1.5 gallon!

      You've gotta whole lot of Yeti going on. Isn't there a song close to this?

    Omg! You use it for a pour over. I love that. I've been so lazy, I've been buying STŌK cold brew. I usually do my pour over with my Hario. I am diffently going to try that . And I will more than likely add more comments as your video continues.

    I had to buy an 18oz and a hot shot cap separately. Glad they are now selling as a combo.

      Seemed like a pretty obvious combo.

    Ok, never mind... you're not at the Russian River. You should come out to Jenner. West coast, Northern California.
    60 miles north of San Francisco.

    Funny, my 94 years old friend with a 30 years difference jumps on me because I have 2 S'wells, Yeti and my friend just gave me another. I called her and left a voicemail saying I have another one.
    It drives her crazy.

    Perfect timing for me as I’m looking at the 1/2 gallon jug VS a 64 ounce bottle to replace a Simms branded one that the lid has failed. I’m leaning towards the jug. Question is, will it hold Icy water all day on your skiff when fishing in July on the coast? Thank you

    • @AlvinD
      @AlvinD  3 года назад +1

      I keep the bottles under the hatch and the water stays ice cold. Sometimes the ice will melt if don't put enough in, but the water never gets warm.

    Does the galon and half galon hold hot drinks. In all video everyone mentions cold and ice drinks but hot??

    • @AlvinD
      @AlvinD  Год назад

      Yes it is great for hot stuff as well.

  • @tachometer-flac

    Do you have a good experience with the half gallon jug? I want to get one. I read some reviews that it leaks if you don't tighten enough or hard to remove if you tighten too much. Even a few reviews said the threads on cap wear out.

    • @AlvinD
      @AlvinD  2 года назад +3

      I have had the lid get stuck a couple of times, if you squeeze it between your legs that usually works to get it off. Haven't heard of any leaks or worn out threads. Yeti would replace them if that did happen.

    Have read someone saying hotshot cap stubs the nose while you drink off the cap. Is it really uncomfortable?

    • @AlvinD
      @AlvinD  2 года назад

      I haven't heard that one. I guess if you have a huge nose. 😂

      @@AlvinD is the mug video out yet? Also love that you actually use all your bottles! Seen alot of people keeping theirs on the shelf with the labels still on them 🤣. Stay safe out there my friend 🙏
