I agree...Voctave is what makes this video special. Kirsten & Jeremy do a good job here as well but that wall of sound that is so intricately layered and masterfully arranged and performed with absolute vocal MASTERY is what makes this video truly spectacular.

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my previous Voctave reaction! I have come back to the Disney love medley a few times now, and I definitely appreciate Jeremy's voice more than I did the first time around. Please be kind and respectful in the comments, and sending love to you all x

Thanks for the reaction. it sounded vocally brilliant just as I've come to expect from Voctave. My only
negative thought was that the sound engineer's mix for the solo voices might have been better.
Kristin has a classical pop solo voice--she cuts through almost any mix--but Voctave has some of
the most powerful voices I've ever heard in a choral group..a tiny bit of post production compression
magic could have enhanced the solos (at times they seemed in danger of being drowned out).
Otherwise it was all smiles and applause. As tenor voices go, Jeremy has a warm and friendly timber,
but again, a bit of emphasis when he wasn't singing full voice would have helped

Yes, when Voctave kicks in singing the powerful vocals ("When destiny call you...") they drown out the lead singers but I didn't give a darn as that part is meant to sound powerful and it is supposed to be the lead vocal sound for that section. It then builds to a climactic peak. I like the choice made by the sound engineer, but yes the two singers up front do get stepped on for a moment!

First off, this is your channel. You can criticize and knit pick all you want. We are getting your reaction. If you were focused on Jeremy’s teeth, so be it. Did they distract you or otherwise take your attention away from the singing? It doesn’t matter, THAT is what your reaction was. So other people were distracted by Kate’s high notes, feeling it took away from the other performers time to shine. Just like you, they have the right to have that opinion on THEIR channel. No one has any right to condemn YOUR reactions, on YOUR channel.

Thank you for your kind words! I do definitely feel after a few rewatches, that Kate's high notes were a little overpowering as well, but I didn't get that feeling on a first time reaction. Thank you, I appreciate it a lot :)

@@QueenoftheNorth I tend to agree that, after a few listens, Kate's high notes get just a bit overbearing as the novelty wears off. I'm sure she was just singing it as they rehearsed it, and the volume was controlled by post-production, and who am I to say it was the wrong decision; first impressions probably pay the bills... The Love Medley is one of Voctave's oldest videos, and it seems they did dial Kate's volume and frequency back just a little after that.
