I’m in 4 spine surgeries, sucks. Back pain is lame. Thank you to RC! My back limits my sitting time, most rcing I can work out standing and I can marshal better than I can wrench on my car so I trade Marshall time to my favorite tuners. Love your content keep up what you do.
Phends last race in Slovakia was nail biting, had me on the edge of my seat. I'm not a fan of TLR, but I was definitely rooting for the guy. Was a little surprised Rivkin didn't finish better.
Nice to see you making new videos.... Can't wait to see more of this and hear what people say after getting some hands on with it.... if it's not overpriced like the B74 and all other 4mod kits, it'll sell like no other.... I was disappointed that the new AE was so expensive, almost the cost of an 8th scale Ebuggy kit... Looking forward to more videos, maybe they'll help me decide what to do this offseason....
For a moment, I was thinking about getting the new chassis if I were to buy while they are available. The car looks good. But I still want the new AE 4wd. Very cool though, and similar to the AE. Or Similar to Yokomo. All of the brands I named along with Tamiya have always been my favorites. I also enjoyed my TMaxx 2.5.
TLR 22x-4 is going to be great! Car Performance already proven well at IFMAR Worlds and here for Jconcepts INS9. SHIP IT TLR!!! From the spy shots.. layout looks simliar to B74/YZ4, with some nice TLR elite aluminum bits and whatever special sauce they did to make it hook and corner that well.. should be great!
e36m3 Jeff Kennedy i knew it! Somehow I am just seeing this and thought for sure that was RC Club House. I am wanting to get into club racing there so I have just started looking at vids of their races. Just subbed to SCW less than a month ago. Do you know when this was? What event?
Phend is so fast. I’ve been racing for a little over a year and I’ve realized that he and I have a really similar racing style. That makes sense, because his setups work best for me compared to others. I tweak them, of course, but our driving styles really do match up. Also, my color scheme is very similar to his! I chose it before I even knew of him! It’s just a bit lighter and brighter. By the time I’m his age, I’ll be just as fast. Alright, back to rebuilding my cars... interested to see the chassis when it’s released!
It was mentioned in a Facebook stream they did just a few hours after the IFMAR 4WD Final that the car was a pre-production unit - they made it clear that the car was NOT a prototype. The only non-production part was a band that Dakotah was using to hold the battery down, which was apparently because the original strap did not fit properly.
Just getting into rc, is it better to get something used or buy a kit and start from scratch? Will only be doing some club racing at a local track. Nothing too serious
You should have went to watch! One of our local drivers Jordan Miles went and did well.. he met Jason, Phend, even Rivkin the worlds winner was there last weekend!
Austin Homer i am just now wanting to get into club racing over there. When was this? Assuming late 2019... What event? Can’t wait to be able to afford a buggy and take a shot at racing with you guys.
if youve got a minute to talk about your surgery and your doctor i would really appreciate some advice. im having trouble finding help in NC for my herniated discs and am in dire need. thanks alot
Hey bro what's up???? Since I've subscribed to the channel like 10 months ago you have put out only 2 videos? Are you planning to do more or is this about average?
I saw the review you did on the way over the top in price Tamiya car and you said it was a very reasonable price I disagree for some one who is retired and on a limited budget any RC car kit that goes past the 200.00 Mark is not a reasonable price .
Haven't been around? Dude.... that's an understatement. Personally, I've taken time off from the hobby... Started playing guitar again - and without a local track (which I'm sure you're aware of Leisure Hours' demise...) what's a part-time amateur to do? Carpet? No flippin' way. Finally.... I wouldn't really say you've been away from RUclips, right? Nerdly gets all kinds of love. So... looks like it's just a matter of priorities with you as well.
@@ShortCourseWorld So very true. Glad to see you doing things that you enjoy doing. And be successful with it! Also... hope your back is doing okay. Cheers.
I noticed how the front is almost pulling wheelies. Wonder if that's how phend has it set up or just the way the car is? Is it still belt drive? I haven't seen anything on it so, no idea what it's all about
It's definitely a shaft drive.. first 22 4WD that will be shaft driven. You could see the front driveshaft thru the body window at the Worlds in a picture.
Sorry but I can’t appreciate the work TLR put into this car, because it simply is a Xray Xb4 (1:1 copy). A Brand like TLR used to be, should have been more capable of designing their own car. In some way I find it even disrespectful towards Xray who put a lot of development into their cars...
@@rcbuggies57 yesh its high but people pay close to that for a 4wd slash vxl or they want 500+ for the max. I think its stupid myself cause there just to bash with. I think 500 for any model is expensive even truggys but tlr is about the same price as ae everywhere i look
Great to see ya back on RUclips!

Phend was definitely on rails all weekend in both 2wd and 4wd. Was cool to meet you hope you come back sometime.
Awesome job..love your videos, would you be able to do some videos that explain 2wd bugy setup and how changes actually effect it on the track
Yeah corners nice went 1/8 scale been hard to go back to 1/10 local track indy world Garland u seem to have no problem (great reviews).
Nice to see you again! Nice vidéo
looks good but hard to tell, Phend could make a Clodbuster look fast. need to see some B main guys drive it lol.
rizzodtheRCvlogger ha ha true
Nice to see you back!!!
The tlr Runaway Train brought the smoke
Can’t wait to have a closer look.
No mention that this is at Rc clubhouse in Warren Michigan🤷🏼♂️

It's not a prototype Jason, that's the release car! Sweet footage

He's back from the dead!
not so much
This was at RC Clubhouse which is 10 minutes from my house

I was thinking about where this channel went, and then he just uploaded a video
things usually happen that way!
This car was just “released” at rcexcitement in Fitchburg ma for the tlr event there
@ShortCourseWorld that the new new tlr 1/8 scale come out soon?
I drove mason fullers and Tom rendernecks prototype 4w

I was there man!

Tow/Camber/Ride height and cross weight are the most crucial points of a setup. Done correctly and it will put you up front every time.
Will you do a review?

If you listen closely when he accelerates, it sounds like belts. Sounds like a 1/10 touring car.

@@netcruzer COrrect, I was wrong. I read that is going to be shaft driven. I just didn;t correct myself yet. :P
how was it to drive jason
Did you go to clubhouse yourself Jason?

Looks like an xray
I posted pics of the inside on oc-rc google, photo section of dakotah phend losi 22 x4 yokomo copy
They already announced the name, no need to assume.
Meh horizon killed them. AE all the way
double edged sword, look at their prices, just obliterates everything else, 530$ for an associated 4wd is hard to justify.

Enough with tlr
