I am proud of you , P.K Mahanandia ji as the inhabitant of a neighbouring district of Cuttack in Odisha. I am extremely inspiring for your deep love , courage and devotion as a human.
I was looked as untouchable for my own people in Bulgaria because my father was Indian and I was probably the first blackish kid in the 90s in Sofia city so I was regularly beaten up in school and my teachers never gave a F… about it.
Still caste system is a barrier in India 55% of Indian's called untouchable if you are against the caste system your life is very difficult you accept Brahmin dominance in caste system you can be anything in India

Untouchability is punishable offence in India and it is gradually going down. But qualified discrimination under law should be extended to poor people of our country irrespective of caste.

Strange that India the largest democracy has untouchable out cast segment of society who are paradoxically are in majority too. Imagine the Indian Society being so stratified inhuman despite the so called democracy
You people of the Desert Death Cult who follow an illiterate pedophile in the name of a "prophet" have no say on how a Secular Democracy like India should function!
Stranger that the Islamic society is also stratified in castes In South Asian Muslim society a distinction is made between the ashrāf (Arabic, plural of shārīf, “nobleman”), who are supposedly descendants of Muslim Arab immigrants, and the non-ashrāf, who are Hindu converts. The ashrāf group is further divided into four subgroups: (1) Sayyids, originally a designation of descendants of Muhammad through his daughter Fāṭimah and son-in-law ʿAlī, (2) Shaykhs (Arabic: “Chiefs”), mainly descendants of Arab or Persian immigrants but also including some converted Rājputs, (3) Pashtuns, members of Pashto-speaking tribes in Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan, and (4) Mughals, persons of Turkish origin, who came into India with the Mughal armies. The non-ashrāf Muslim castes are of three levels of status: at the top, converts from high Hindu castes, mainly Rājputs, insofar as they have not been absorbed into the Shaykh castes; next, the artisan caste groups, such as the Julāhās, originally weavers; and lowest, the converted untouchables, who have continued their old occupations. These converts of Hinduism observe endogamy in a manner close to that of their Hindu counterparts. Ref: www.britannica.com/topic/Islamic-caste
