That is a very nice job on your trailer. I'm loving your 359 project, keep up the good work.
Thank you
Fantastic job!! I need to do that to my trailer. But i just built 7ft ramps for my deck over trailer
good job ! thanks for sharing ! looking forward to the next video !!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you t mack, glad you enjoyed it.
yep your welcome !
I have been wanting to.do this to my flat pipetop for years. Helps to see it done first
I felt like breaking out a tye dyed tee shirt. Nice job.
At. last! Someone who knows what the parts of an equipment trailer are. One of the first brands was Eager Beaver in the 60s and 70s.
Great job!!
thank you
Did you put a slot in the 2x3 tube to slide over the bottom lip of the 3x5 angle?
no
will you have to move the tail lights further back?
I haven't. I'd actually like to move the axles back on the trailer a bit
@@Ezrider359 add an extra axle?? tri axle in stead of bogey
As much as that trailer squatted when that Cat jumped aboard makes me think two things: you didn't need the beaver tail and you have that trailer way over capacity!Great video though on how to add a tail!
It's at it's max rating with the bobcat. Didn't really add it for the bobcat. But some low ground clearance cars that I haul on that trailer as well
How much does your bobcat weigh? Does it need the ramps or can it climb up there on it's on?
About 7k lbs and yes I can load and unload it without the ramps.
Your welds definitely passed the load test.
are you using flux core on this trailer?
Most likely mig. Don't really remember to be honest
This called a dove tail; not a beaver tail.
A dovetail is a woodworking joint, has nothing to do with a trailer!
