With the latest Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish), Livepatch no longer comes enabled by default, you have to enable it to get live patch-kernel updates for your Ubuntu system.
What is Livepatch?
Livepatch is a service by Ubuntu that provides high maintenance unplanned critical severity security patches to your Linux system (Kernel) without any interruption.
These updates automatically patch the Linux kernel while the system runs. You don’t even notice them 😇
