The inside pocket is the same on every bag so of course it’s not a mistake....I have this color too and it’s so beautiful in the medium size! This is my 3rd Telfar bag and I haven’t had any issues securing the bag, this is my 3rd one in 3 weeks. My bags were all delivered next day or two day shipping which is amazing and unexpected.
I figured it just so different having the zip pocket in the front. Usually with other designers and brands the pocket is in the back, or if there are two pockets one is zipped and the other is open. Some people for some reason just always miss out on the bag. Yours gets delivered super quick, that’s great!

Corners are a little scuffed and I have a pen mark in the bag that I couldn’t get out, but it’s holding up well. Straps are good. I just purchased a black one as well.

It's silver-ish. I wouldn't say it's gold gold. It might just be my lighting.
