One thing I'm glad I did is get a small bag to slide shoes in, it helps protect the bag and keeps everything else inside clean from shoe dirt! I used the cotton drawstring bag from my set of bedsheets lol
This is the tan. I did get my straps shorten at a bag repair shop because they were just too long. They recently came out with a monogram bag with adjustable straps. Might have to get my hands on it.

This bag is as big as my carry on suitcase. 😂😂 does it zip closed?
No it doesn't zip. It has a magnetic snap closure. A lot people do use it for travel.
