Good morning, Kym! Thank you for today’s video 🙂 It amazes me how organized you are concerning keeping your homestead maintained and running smoothly. Your videos motivate me to become more involved in the upkeep and maintenance of my home and property. I have left most of the outdoor upkeep to my hardworking husband and even though I help with our garden, I can do better and learn to do more things. There is definitely lots of room for education and growth in many areas which you bring to light through your videos. 💓
Oh Kym, this video was amazing. I have let things slide for the last two years as far as maintenance on my home goes. You inspired me to start being organized again! I made a list while watching you this morning. Thank you for caring about your viewers. Hugs and blessings to you dear Kym!Have a terrific day 🤗😘🙏
Kim, amazing video! I do have the water-filtering straws, thinking of Frankie as livestock made me giggle a bit!! I just planted new tomato plants in my inside greenhouse.
Excellent info, especially for us single gals! I looked on Amazon there are tons of home maintenance log books to choose from even for us who don’t have a “homestead”. I think it’s great to have Thank you for your info! Subscribed
For safety. Cut pvc pipe to go in each window to prevent it opening. It's cheap and easy. Anyone who knows windows, will tell you how easy it is to get in them even when locked. Also secondary protection incase lock is faulty.
I had one of those ladders when we had foster care. I have smoke detectors/ alarms. We have a carbon monoxide detector. We changed our filters and have extra. We got a new furnace and pipes under house redone. We’ll winterize our furnace out side this fall. Rest of our plumbing sewer will get done this fall/ winter. We have extra outlets or freezers on their own breaker and we have 2 freezers one fridge in garage on different breakers.
Hi Kym, this was a really important video especially the safety aspect and with what's happened to me of late being organised and keeping records would have been very helpful to me now. As well as this you really made me chuckle with your vent story that's absolutely something I would have thought too. Love to you Frankie (I needs a parachute mom mom) and the girls Xx ❤🐔🐱
@@jaynelymer6442 Frankie says thank you Aunt Jayne for telling mom mom I need a parachute! Girl I have to keep records as my mind gets too full and I can’t remember lol
Good morning Kym, Always good to have a plan I regularly check my smoke detectors and carbon alarms I've been pretty good at keeping up with general maintenance with the house safety is important :-)
Excellent information! I also have a flint fire starter instead of keeping matches, it’s cheap, thin small case for ease of storage and can be used 25,000+ times (I have 2). Can’t store that many matches. Hope to never need it but it’s here in case. Now to touch up some exterior paint and clean the gutters. Ugh. 😊
Crazy question Is there a way to make a fermented type cowboy candy that can be used as a condiment over the holidays? Need to up my fermented foods game this winter.
I have a fire blanket besides fire extinguisher
@@sandrabrunelle6453 that’s a great idea! I will look for one!

@@victoriajohnson3034 great suggestion! I’ve used broom sticks cut to size too
Put a backpack in the ladder box. Frankly won't like, but he can go in it and on your back just long enough to get out of danger.
