In five years of knowing this jewel of a song, I'd never made the connection, but...A feast of nature in a dying world ? A dance of chosen beings ? Not to mention the name. This is very reminiscent of the Turii mythology.
Akiko Shikata sang both Turii ~Panta Rhei~ and Pantalea. The names are so very similar it'd be an appalling coincidence if the two concepts weren't at least somewhat related.

πάντα ῥεῖ (panta rhei), "everything flows". Rhea is also one of the Titan Gods in Greek mythology

Pantalea is a type of flower, I think

Metafalls Actually, pantalea is not a flower. Its a latin maxim that means "we are one".

In fact, it's greek maxim by Heraclitus of Ephesus (panta rhei) which means "Everything flows [and nothing stays the same]"

In greek, pantaleon means "most merciful", in portuguese, means "strong"
