Nitrogen is a heck of an element. Bonded to itself, it's super-stable and our atmosphere wouldn't be possible without it.
Bonded to just about anything else, it really loves going kaboom.
Its because of it's affinity for Oxygen. For example, the active ingredient in Gunpowder is Potassium Nitrate. KNO3, Charcoal provides the fuel in the form of Carbon, and the Sulphur effectively acts as a catalyst, having plenty of Oxygen there in the mix in the form of the Potassium Nitrate means that the mixture provides it's own oxygen and doesn't require air to burn (Or deflagrate / explode very rapidly if in a sealed container which increases the pressure that the reaction takes place under), because of this, it can actually burn under water!
This week, Simon finds as many euphemisms as possible to describe male parts getting hard. Off we go....

I've heard he felt terrible about his invention being used for war so it suck he didn't live long enough to see its life changing abilities. And as technology advances nitro glycerin is used less and less for war giving humanity time to make more babies from increased viable males than dynamite killed...we might already be there but that's probably impossible to prove

I have had a heart attack. Today I keep a small bottle of nitro next to my bed, and carry another with me if I'm going to be out of the house for some time. I call them my headache pills. Still, better a headache than death.

It's a funny line. That is until you think about it. Why does the military dish out so much for that little blue pill? Well, it's because of how the US military budget is set up. One of those line items under there budget is the department of veterans affairs. Sexual disfunction is on the top of the list of symptoms of ptsd. I'm actually curious about how much they dish out for sleeping pills. I personally have average about 4-5 hours of sleep a night for over 15 years

Seen it done, almost did it myself.
The only thing stopping me is the size of my disability pension.
I have enough for rent and food, so I don't sell blue pills to supplement my income.
@@pirobot668beta you can't point at one small aspect and say that's why. A lot of the guys who I was deployed with have certain issues that require the pill. Plus there is a growing group of veterans just getting to that age.
Just do the math on veterans vs homeless veterans, your numbers don't work. There are a lot of homeless veterans but it's still appropriately 0.2% of the veteran population, about 37k.

There used to be retirement homes for Vets.
I read an article where the VA in LA, was given a very large tract of land 100+ acres to have the clinic/hospital as well as assisted living quarters.
However as the VA goes, they decided to lease the land out to private companies on really long lease agreements.
How in the hell they could do that and never get called in for it, is well normal operating procedure for the VA.
Under the topic of government ran healthcare, I used to tell people that if you want to know how it would be if the federal government ran your health care, just look at the VA.
Because it's actually federal government healthcare in action. Of course the left's rebuttal was normally, that's not a good example because.....blah blah blah.
It wasn't untill President Trump that the VA cleaned up it's act.
And it's still not all that good.
I shouldn't say anything, biden will reverse President Trump's work in that too, then we'll have Vets dieing in the waiting room once again.
Come to think about it, we haven't heard anything about the VA for quite awhile. Wonder if the AH in charge has already done it and the msm is covering it up by not reporting on it.

EDIT..... FYI: when I first applied the nitro paste medication to a patient, I learned to always wear gloves while applying this paste or else suffer from a severe instantaneous migraine type headache. Before the widespread use of gloves at work, I had a patient sneer at me, when I first put on the gloves...... until I explained ‘why’ I had to wear them.

The difference between Nitrocellulose, and Nitroglycerine is massive! Years ago, before the world tragically changed on 11th September, and you could get away with playing with fun toys, I used to make all sorts of explosives just for fun. Nitrocellulose was incredibly safe and easy to make, Nitroglycerine on the other hand, while easy to make, it is also terribly unstable, and a mistake results in losing fingers or other more important body parts. Only did that once (in fairly small quantities), and I was lucky and got away with it, but it's not something that I'd want to do again, not least because nowadays, the penalties really outweigh the fun aspects of the substance.

The hypertension would (I think) be treated by the nitric oxide released from the medication Tadalafil.
I used GTN spray which (again I think) employs Nitric Mon for angina.
Probably the fortuitous effect of Tadalafil on ED was observed by accident much like Nitro Gly. and angina in an ammunition factory.
I didn't know that Tadal. had been used for HP.
Is it effective as a treatment or best used pre-emptively and at a lower dose?

It limits when you get can frisky, but my wife understands and even says that it's a nice way to wake up.

I have enjoyed Simon's videos for some time now and his interesting subjects, rapid delivery and clear enunciation have made them dynamic. In this one he seems to drop in to 'soto voce' often to the point of mumbling and I keep having to bump the volume up. It's a signature speech pattern and part of the charm but seems to be straying lower and lower.

I repair guns, and as a sideline reload ammo. Many of the powders have to be handled carefully via gloves to keep from getting headaches. I also use a nitro transdemal patch for the angina attacks I have had my whole life, the work great.
