The mime at Sea World was my introduction to this art and I laughed and said, "what nonsense, but fun." My mother said, "any art which can reach anyone regardless of their language is not nonsense and mimes have accomplished great things for many people." I thought she was speaking nonsense, but my mom must have meant him.

Actually, I was confused the entire time as well. I believe he was using techniques that no longer apply today from being updated, I can only imagine. Very talented, nonetheless.

Well, he set up his easel, winding it to the height he wanted, he squeezed and mixed his paints, he looked at the scene, he attacked the canvas with enthusiasm, at one point getting so excited his movements transformed into a violinist, he went at the painting with rapier-like movements, but finally looking at what he’d achieved, threw the painting away in disgust, packed up his easel, and made his way home. Any questions?
