Thank you, SF. As an aviation aficionado I want to believe I’d never come anywhere close to mixing both aircraft up, but I guess this content may be useful for someone else.
For me the difference is there service history The 737 has a bad reputation from its early history and is considered one of the most dangerous planes to fly on, the max 8 variant is no exception As for the A320 also has plenty of crashes but isn’t that bad as the 737’s history

Yes i know about those differences for a very long time. From the first time flying onboard an airplane with a Boeing 737 back in 2009 to the last time i flew onboard an airplane with the Airbus A320 back in July 2018.
Airbus has it's double strobe, while Boeing - single one lol : )) Also I heard that Boeing and Airbus has totally different approach to wing design. Airbus has much heavier and tough wing which makes Airbus feels great on takeoff and landings. While Boeing has light and flexible wing, which have most advantages on cruise flight. But they had to create additional controlling surfaces called flaperons to help aircraft maneuver on low speeds.
Knew all these differences and another is that the 737 tail has a little v shape at the front of it and the A320 family doesn’t also the tail APU port on the A320 family (and all Airbus jets) is perfectly rounded like an exhaust pipe on a car versus the 737s blunt nub shape or triangular pointed tail cone on the 737 MAX family. 😊
As a Boeing lover I must say that the 747 is probably the most iconic airplane in modern history it has been featured in a lot of films but not just that I have read that Airbus 380 is getting outphased because of it's size and the logistics of operating it like special things at airports I remember they had to land one here in Las Vegas just to test if the runway would fit it.
Mate you are an aviation news and aviation technology channel, we as your audiences are 99% aviation geeks who doesn't know why we follow the industry 😂 we knew these differences when we were 2. I am not even a regular flyer. 😅
Only Boeing Classic and NG (Next Generation) engine nacelles have the somewhat flattened bottom, not the Original (200) some of which still fly passengers in Arctic Canada. As others have pointed out neither do the MAX series with the chevron chopped nacelles at the rear. 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦

Too easy. We all can. Well, those of us who have loved aviation since we were 5 years old. You should explain spotting the difference between an MD11 and a DC-10... some level of difficulty. 737s have a Boeing nose that it closely shares with 707, 720, and 727. It can be seen miles away.
The 787 has Chevron Nozzles, Large Dimmable Windows, Carries less passengers, more built, older, had more incidents, different shaped front. The A350 is more advanced, newer, less being bought, larger, carries more passengers, has more efficient engines, has a black window mask that helps sun glare, quieter cabin, durable.
There is 1 major difference you forgot to mention and that is the landing lights. The A320 has the the landing lights underneath the wings in front of the landing gear while the 737s have landing lights on the wings
The tail is the easiest way to tell. The 737 has another triangular piece.
Not all of them. The original 737s don't have that tailfin extension...
@@cjmpaja You aren’t wrong, but the thing is how often are you gonna see a classic 737 next to an A320
@@anthonywinebarger the classic has dorsal fins too, he meant the Original 737 such as the 737-100 and 200
I legit swear I was about to comment that until I saw this
Certainly not a problem for the average spotter. How to differentiate the models in each family will be a little more challenging
Using exit doors and length it isn’t too hard really. If you have been spotting a lot
Very easy to tell the difference.
fr
A320 has a sim card window.
Thank you, SF. As an aviation aficionado I want to believe I’d never come anywhere close to mixing both aircraft up, but I guess this content may be useful for someone else.
Also, the 737 fuselage breaks in half if the airplane ditches, the A320 does not. Ask Sully.
Lion Air 904 reference
But the 737 Classics don't do that, look at Garuda Indonesia 421
Sully was 10ft of the river so the landing was safe and flight 904 was stalling to the water at like 40ft so there big chance of fuselage breaking
Pointy is scary, round is not.
Another good way to tell them apart is that the doors don't break and fly off mid flight on the A320
😂😅😅😅😢😢 bruh!
Bruh💀💀💀
Wow bro got the whole squad laughing 😐🫤
😂😂👍
Hmmmmm 😑
I can already distinguish them by just looking at the nose
So easy
Dont forget- Airbus has enclosed main gear with wheel wells. B737 is not equipped with enclosed main gear. The tires are exposed during flight.
With a 737 you can see the rear wheels when retracted.
Look at their main cabin door. If it has the window at the centre of the door->B737. But, if it is at the side->A320
i think the 737 is a beautiful airplane, it has that classic beautiful look
For me the difference is there service history
The 737 has a bad reputation from its early history and is considered one of the most dangerous planes to fly on, the max 8 variant is no exception
As for the A320 also has plenty of crashes but isn’t that bad as the 737’s history
I prefer the A320, I like the 737 but the A320 is wider, quieter and more comfortable.

I think one of the easiest is the tailfin. the 737 has a sort of triangle thingy on it
Airbus has it's double strobe, while Boeing - single one lol : )) Also I heard that Boeing and Airbus has totally different approach to wing design. Another way to look at it the engines 737 is low to the ground but A320 higher
I feel like the Boeing 747 and the Airbus A380 is friends
Knew all these differences and another is that the 737 tail has a little v shape at the front of it and the A320 family doesn’t also the tail APU port on the A320 family (and all Airbus jets) is perfectly rounded like an exhaust pipe on a car versus the 737s blunt nub shape or triangular pointed tail cone on the 737 MAX family. 😊
Engines:A320 is perfect circle and 737s is just flat
Another good way to tell them apart is that A320 has FBW Flight controls while B737 don't 😂
The A320 won't be trying to pile you into the ground lol
The 737ng wouldn't either
737 max engines are round, not flat like the NGs. You have to see those from the back to know that they have the chevrons
Also the doors for the front landing gear are more visible on the 737, and the winglets are different shapes
my little sister could tell the difference between these 2 planes
Also, the airbus a320 and all the airbuses use joystick, unlike the 737 and boeings.
How about you make a new video about differences between the a340 600 and the dc8
Ryanair on Airbus a320 be like
It is super easy to tell the difference
Not all 737s have flat engines. The 737 100 and 737 200 have round engines.
Rudder?
Airbus uses "joystick" and Boeing has yokes as flight-controls
The 737 is scarier, because it has a pointy nose.
It is impossible to mix up the two. The 737 has a distinct fuselage and engines compared to the A320.
Thanks, I liked the comparison.!!
The airbus is more spacious
Also, the shape and height of the tail. 737 tails are higher
if you see a flying ice cream cone with imperfect circles beneath it's wings it's gotta be a 737
and the strobe lights
One has a door and one dozen😂
I knew this from previous simple flying videos
The Boeing engines are further forward on the wing as well

A320 is nicer to fly on and safer too
How to tell an A350 and 787 apart
Yes i knew all these differences
Boeing 737 has no doors and dives in the water
I prefer A320
I thought everyone could tell the dofferences
What’s that a max 8 at the start??
Now i can tell better
Also A320s crash less nowadays than 737s (MAX) so if it’s not a smouldering wreck, it’s likely to be an Airbus.
You know 777s tend not to not suddenly crash into the ocean like A330s. If the plane is flying above the waters its likely to be a Boeing aircraft.

Yeah but why?
The difference is the 737 is incredibly ugly
After enough staring at them, a 737 looks like a 737 while an A320 looks like an A320

737 engines- Across the countries
A320 Engines - Overseas
737 nose today (even the latest Max) same shape from the 707 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The easiest way to tell when it's in the air is to look at the undercarriage. 737s have exposed tires when retracted while A320s so not.
Another way to tell them apart is you will loose 10kg while landing the 737
the Boeing wingtip nav lights pnly flash once whilst on the airbus they flash twice
Yes
Boeing 737 is an ugly plane
Let me Geus the Airbus stays in the air whereas the Boeing doesn’t
Its simple look at the door , on the 737 you realise its not there
The a320 also has a slightly falatet outer engine shell but its just the very end
POV
The tail rn: I’m I a joke to you?
The best way to tell is the livery
E.g: Ryanair uses 737s and no other planes so that means it is 737
You forgot Southwest.
👍
For me the 737 looks very mad
Engine sound for me/ airline
one flies to the left and one flies to the right
A320 is the best
