What if I am my parent live in caregiver for the last 3 years. I just recently learned about the look back they sold their house 7!years ago which left them with plenty of money yet I’m paying $800-1000
Per month deposited into my mother’s account. This feels stupid now because I’m basically building a nest egg for Medicaid. Shouldn’t I be able to be paid for being a live in caregiver. I am a legit caregiver I make all the meals and help my father get dressed and shower as well as organize their meds.

You might be able to be paid for caregiver services, but would definitely need a written caregiver agreement in place. That being said, without knowing all the specifics of your and your parents' situation, I cannot opine with any degree of certainty.
