  • Bought this car off a friend moving back to uk, its a renault clio 2002 1.2L petrol 5 speed 16 valve, came with a 6cd player changer, full service history, manuals, few spare parts and only cost me 500€ finished cost.
Did a full restoration in 6 days, looks really nice and only spent pennies fixing her up, roof lining, polish headlight, resprayed bumpers and wheels, full engine service, and a EXTREME CLEAN!
everything seemed ok but the bad bits where: both electric window motors broken, central locking on the key dosent work, a/c needs regassing, spark plugs were loose, 1 coil was bad, slightly wobbly clutch pedal and gear stick, and spluttered a bit because of old fuel in the tank, oil was nasty
she runs great now, I drive it daily, just want to put some deep dish alloys on, coilers are extremely expensive for this car for some reason
enjoy!!, go check out my other videos for more crazy project!!

Love the 1.2 16V . Well done guys. We've had ours new since 2004 now my son has it. Just need to keep on top of the normal 'Clio' things that go wrong -boot locks, leaky sunroof, hooter wires breaking.

17:09 Nice panel cover above the glove box, very different from Brazilian Clio, looks like Brazilian Renault Symbol MK II.

Does anyone know how you get heater resistor out ,I know it's under the bonnet near windscreen wiper but where does the the other end of the wiring run to. It's a 2002 1.2 16v Clio petrol.
