I agree, safety is key for grilling and by the looks of it, it does a great job cleaning. Not to mention I have heard lots of great things about this brush!

Looks like it does a pretty good job Sandy. Does it come with only 1 sponge? That one you used looked pretty grimy once you were finished. I'm gonna check out your links. Cheers Sandy!

Yea it just comes with 1 but you remove the head and put it in the dish washer. It feels like fire hose material that fire fighters use.

The product directions say to scrape the grill first with the metal side before using the scrub side.

I was skeptic also. This thing works really well. The pads are replaceable as well.

Now that you are finished, how do you clean that nasty pad on the grill brush, or do you have to replace it at added expense? I did notice some areas it didn`t clean very well. The jury will be out on this until I learn more about it. If you brush your grate will a little olive oil right before you put the meat on, it will not stick and make a mess to have to clean up afterwards.

Take the pad off and put it in the dishwasher. Sounds like you have it figured out and don't need it.

$30 for the scraper head, $40 for the plastic handle, $13 for the plastic/rubber hanging attachment, $83 wow.....After tax and everything it comes out to $94.94. I see why you did not mention the price. It is also made in China.
