Means how will you get salvation if you don't kill your lust because just by visiting religious places and worship are not going to help you. You have to make your soul pure to be free from world.

This bandish highlights the contradictions in one's life. It says everyone goes to pilgrimage ( teerath ko sab kare) and desires Salvation but nobody makes the efforts to overcome their shortcomings, imprudent desires etc.. Poor Human seeks aloofment from these materialistic existence but never works for the same . I have tried to put it as I got it.. would love to get more insights and corrections (if any) in this regard..
I was fortunate to be on tanpura with him, and spend full three days with him in Vadodara.
