Blackened so pixels are turned "off"? And if so, does blackout use less energy? If in a drawing program that has layers, would a black front layer do the same?
The iPad pro are micro led not oled, it's a worse type of screen, uses the back light technology of something like the old iPad where there is a lcd that when turns black the back light still create light, but the new iPad has smaller backlight so that when the screen turns black the backlight turns off, but becuase a whole screen area counts on the nearby backlight when you start to create a black screen the backlight decreases
